Behrens
This is a comic I've been reading since, well, he started posting it. One of the blogs I read did a thought experiment. What would it be like if a group of modern D&D powergamers had never heard of Lord of the Rings, and did a campaign based on it? The result was this comic: http://www.shamusyoung.com/twentysidedtale/?p=612 The rest of his stuff is hysterical too, but the comic is a good start. He's got a next button at the top to take you straight to the next issue.

Chayesh
Must...breathe.... Seriously, that's about the most hilarious thing I've read since Zrothrum posted he failed the 'sader quest. "We have to help Frodo!" "Who?" "Dave's character!"

Behrens
If you send along a high-level NPC of great majesty and power to accompany the party, you need to realize that the players will treat this character like a bazooka: The NPC will become a weapon used to solve a problem in the bloodiest and most expedient manner possible, and then discarded without ceremony. This is my favorite.
Zrothum
Seriously, that's about the most hilarious thing I've read since Zrothrum posted he failed the 'sader quest. I didn't fail anything. Ontius just got mixed up, so I gave him some time....he realized his error when I came back and he gave me what I deserved. Then big, bad Irumeru the Crusher of Hopes, Smiter of Dreams comes and kills Ontius and said since my character wasn't puttin out, I couldn't have sader. That's the real story and I'm stickin to it. EtsoShex
Oh man, that's hilarious. Reminds me when I tried to play with Djriacen and friends. It didn't work. Also, I never had to pay for pizza.

Malanith
THIS is great comedy. I so recognize the behavior of the players, from my old D & D groups. I love it.
