Evangelion Posted January 2, 2007 Report Share Posted January 2, 2007 I believe (but do not quote me on this) that if your character's level is below the level of the ranged weapon you are attempting to use, that you will receive the message that you are talking about. Another possibility is that your fired weapons proficiency has something to do with what weapons you can use effectively. crackwilly21 Posted January 3, 2007 Report Share Posted January 3, 2007 Yeah, some muds have level restrictions on eq, so at level 5, you can't have a full suit of red dragon and a holy avenger.
