BobcatFan
You know the ones, you log on your gnome invoker. Get all hyped because your going to slaughter some faeries with another invoker. your party is led in too quick and 3 faeries jump on your back and demolish you. You chalk it up to bad luck and get in there again only for the same thing to happen. You figure, its just bad luck and get your things and log out. Return later that day after resting up to do the same thing. You are killed two more times, once because your dumb but once because your group led you into another patch. You look at your xp and your now at 50k/250k and realize that you already took 6 mob deaths and r-r-r-rage delete. Rip nevro So... Make me feel better and discuss some of those bad times you have had similar to mine.
myrek
had a GREAT rp angle, impossible to repeat without being obvious, had already built some good rp lines with other characters, got to lvl 31 and then logged off. Didn't pay attention when zMud reconnected for me. My tick timer spouted "whe pk" preventing me from voiding. Starved to death a dozen or so times. mya
Learn to take less risks when ranking. And when to cast word of recall. We all take stupid deaths. I remenber being blinded by a BMG Sear, and running around like a chicken waiting it to pass. While i had the cure blind spell mastered.
Chromatic
Take a bow to kill faeries...you don't actually have to be able to hit them to get them to chase, just don't go too far in or they'll spawn behind you. Same thing happened to me quite frequently, group mates got me killed and always survived, so I always have to lead the group or I don't go there. Guest emp_newb
one time I died to like 12 a healer calmed them all and ressed me. and another one walked in and they all assisted once more. Talk about annoying I was like Unlock north *CLICK* open n n you have been KILLED! Accept FWOOM you have been KILLED!
corpsestomp
I can't stand xp holes, I feel like I'm wasting my time for the most part. If I take a mobdeath before 20, he's getting deleted. If I take more than 3 before or around 30, deleted. From 40-50, it depends on how much interaction the character has had (mostly chances of cabal), determine how long he sticks around after mobdeaths. Sirax
Yeah i hate losing a life before 40, thats a certain deletion for me. Think its a bit of a perfectionist thing going on. Doesnt matter if its player or mob, below 40 and thats it. My real pet hate is having someone lead the group attacking brownies and i spam a whole load of commands as they attack grand pooh bah, they flee i get killed. Mudder
Myrek - If I take a XP hole before 30, I just re-create the character. I know once you hit 30 the MUD blocks your name, but there are ways around that. Also NEVER let zMUD have your password and connect automatically to any characters, too many problems come out of it. I was training sneak with triggers and watching whilst lying on my bed. Needless to say it was 3 in the morning and being all comfortable I just passed out... Woke up at 11:00 am all confused. Then BAM! I realized what happened.
myrek
I know! I was level 31 and only like 1.5 from 32! I couldn't redo it. There can only be so many little girl necromancers handing out hugs.

I remember back when mystic healing was first given to healers for ressurections but hadn't fixed the bug with it yet... and someone (forgetting who) summoned Pali up to ask about why he's got +500 regen on everything... good times.
