brsingr
which should I get. I'm leaning towards CoV (city of villians) because I have a fantasy - ish game (EQ2) and it is better than CoH (city of heroes) because it's more fun to kidnap than rescue. KRins
If you are rolling in the loot get guild wars and the expansions. Actually a pretty nasty game and you have to consciously think about what you are doing every second, unlike a lot of other MMORPGs

Lailanni
I would say CoH, but that's because it's the only one on your list I've ever played and I really liked it.
brsingr
Cov is sort of a standalone addition - same gameplay, diff chars, and reversed missions. I.E. instead of "this person has been kidnapped, you must save them" it's "you must kidnap this person!" or "Steal this kidnapped person from someone else to collect the ransom. you can even fly to paragon city. Kyzarius
Coh and Cov are the same game...if you want the best experience get both..you only have to pay one sub. My wife and i have played CoH/V for over two years now, its an awesome game. To our credit we did try Wow for a month, but man..its slow IMHO. try CoH, try guardian server if you like ninjas on here, roll up a stalker in cov hehe..feel the gank hate..feeeeel it. hah/

The Greased Weasel
Well, COH/COV is long grind with no end game to it and far more repetetive than WoW. WoW does not favor the casual gamer so much as to see the flashy end game content you really have to play with quite a bit of zealousy. Vanguard has been touched by Sony Online Entertainment, thus it has some dirty STD...like herpes.

I don't agree with that so much. WoW does lend to the casual gamer quite a bit. I'm not hardcore by a long shot and I am having a lot of fun. I raid, I five man, I PvP when I feel like it, and haven't exhausted my options at endgame yet, and I still work two jobs, and goto school full time. Will I ever see Naxx? Probably not, but with new endgame in the expansion, it's going to be a lot easier to see all the endgame offered. But right now I run MC, AQ20, ZG, and I don't play everyday, just got to get into the guild that runs at your pace. Anyways, Brsingr, I'd say go with CoVs, because that's the way you're leaning. I haven't played it yet, so I can't say either way, but if you end up on WoW and hop in the Thorium Brotherhood server, I can hook you up with some equipment and money to get you started. Welcome to MMO's? lol I have yet to find a game hat caters to the casual gamer.. Why? Because the "casual" gamers are not the ones who spend the money.
