Mudder
Where is the score sheet? What was the race? You know, if an Imm gimps you and you stick with the char for awhile. It'd impress the imms with your dedication to RP and you'll usually get rewarded wether the gimping is removed or something else is given to even it out. I am totally talking out of my *** here, but it sounds good and probably holds some truth.

Mudder
Eh, yeah I think I know what you're talking about. Its not a gimp if you don't get it though. Also, even if you -fail- the quest you can still RP your way into it. Its been done before, it'll be done again. That was told to me by Virigoth, i'm sure Chayesh holds similar sentiment. Guest emp_newb
3 weeks waiting was way too long. People were starting to rag on me for rank sitting and stuff like that. Find a viable rp reason to explain what you want. My first undead attempt was a human cleric and literally I had 31 masteries, 14-1 pk record (my one pdeath was actually chayesh in a very fun rp session) and had 125 hours, I was waiting for close to a month. All in all it boils down to whether or not you think it is worth it to stick around. I saw you around alot and had hoped to see you go a bit farther. Good luck with your next char though, hope it all goes well.
mya
Perhaps randomly attacking people does not bodes well for the undead app.
Malanith
Why don't people 'roleplay' the failure, and see where that takes the character? People are too quick to pull the plug (delete, delete), instead of rolling with the punches. Who knows where it might have led?
delfytheelfy
because people wanna play what they want to play... because we enjoy playing wwhat we want to play and thats why we play the game. Enjoyment.
KRins
I swear I really did try to play it out, but I was getting run by necros after I pumped them full of arrows regardless of the tactic changes I would try. My knowledge of the class definately played a big part of it.
tassinvegeta
Seems like you could've played a strong ranger still even after the gimpage, I'm sure theirs a reason for it. Additionally many go for qraces/qclassess with the purpose of actually making that qrace/qclass, sitting at 30 for hours usually would bore most of us to death/deletion. I wonder if Martineius would've continued if he never made vampire. My opinion is that more applicants should be accepted within a more reasonable time frame or rejected sooner. Zrothum
It does pretty much utterly suck to say, send in an application for something you really, really want. Then spend the next 60+ hours doing what you think is best to get whatever it is you are trying for....only to be told No, or to be told nothing at all. That sort of let-down is an easy rage-delete motivator.

mya
Necros are the Kings of 30ths acording to LA. Still how did you lose to a necro ? Then again i have seen a DK lose to a Cleric at rank 20.

My opinion is that more applicants should be accepted within a more reasonable time frame or rejected sooner.[/quote'] Though my experience with Silviana was very good in the end, it took me over 30 days to get made avatar AFTER being approved. During this time i basically hounded belegriel until i started getting some kind of response. Though the staff here is wonderful, beyond any doubt. I would never say otherwise. Their always seems to be this one-sided blindness for the players when anyone applies for anything. You have no knowledge that someone is even around, and after waiting 15 days to get approved, then another 30 to actually get "processed" man, it took a serious act of will to stay devoted. Of course one could say this is what it takes to be elevated to qclass/qrace status...though on the other hand it is very very discouraging...and the same players i am sure are the ones earning qclass again and again. This thread is a good example of the discouraging...and i would admit..had i waited that entire month, logging in every single weekday for hours and hours waiting, hoping, waiting, hoping, waiting, hoping just to be told no? or fail? heck i would have deleted too. The biggest crush was that i was constantly reassured that my rp was very very fitting for what i was going for yet day after day i heard nothing was given a task, completed it and still waited 20 more days..... But hell, a characters life is short, and one that is oriented around zealot like rp is a short life...i was at 30 deaths remaining when i got the avatar..and was already pinned which really really screwed the experience for me considering certain things i didnt get to grow into...i basically had the health/mana stats of a human since i never got to train otherwise. Why the delay? i have no idea...and i dont blame any one person in the staff, because all my interactions were positive and i recieved attention that i didn't expect in the end and enjoyed (even though i got my arms ripped off once...). I must admit though, in the past i have applied for psi..it took 2 days to get approved and 1 day to take the test.
KRins
shield block requires a shield, which means no bow. It was the only thing I had left to my advantage, so using a shield was a bigger hurt then a help. Scout? Had the eagle-eye perk. I screwed up dual parry by training dodge, parry first. All of these things are obviously rookie mistakes. Maybe my shield idea is completely wrong, but I enjoyed him while I had him. Kinda irritated I didn't know I could just roll up an alt to occupy my time. I probably wouldn't completely hate seeing human everytime I typed 'who pk'.
