BigPapa
Is there a help request? I don't get it.
Deykari
Good-aligned characters can request equipment from other mobs that are good-aligned. Use the 'consider' command to consider a creature that has equipment - if the mob is a good-aligned mob (it smiles at you) and you are of a high enough level to request the item, you can use 'request ', for example, 'request helm' or 'request mithril' to request the item. If you are too low a level, you will be told "You are not ready yet." or something to that affect - try requesting it once you've got a few levels. If you're told "Why don't you rest a while?" or something to that affect, sleep a bit - you generally need your health/mana/moves in good condition to request. Whilst requesting, you're sat within that area for a length of time (a few in-game hours, which is determined by your own level compared with the level of the item) and each tick that passes whilst requesting, you lose a small portion of your health/mana/moves. The vast majority of commands are also unavailable to you - you can use the who list, and check your score, and that's all I believe - this makes requesting sometimes dangerous if it is in an area where someone may easily find you, as they can attack you whilst you request. Once requested, you'll gain the item. If the item is rare/unique, there is a penalty for requesting also. It can sometimes be tedious requesting items as a good, however on the flipside, at higher levels you can request almost full-sets of equipment without having to kill a mob when you need to re-equip after death. BigPapa
So if I con a mob, and its within, needs a Lot of Luck. Which I can normally kill, it is reasonable to "request" said item. If it says, youll be throwing your life away, I shouldn't request?
Mudder
First of all you didn't kill a zombie. You killed a magical creature created by a good mage, it was called a golem. Request is simple. You look at the good mob. You see what you want. You type "request " Be sure you spell out the item. Do not type "request gau golem" type "request gauntlets golem" get it? You will then be forced to sit idle and wait for a little while. It is dependant on your level compared to the level of the item. The closer you are to the items level, the longer it takes. Though if you are level 50 and request a piece of mithril, it takes one tick. While you are sitting idle you will slowly lose hp, mana, and movement. But you will not go to zero, if you get too low you will "snap out of it." But the item will be destroyed. If you get hungry or thirsty, you will "snap out of it" but the item will also be destroyed. So be sure to eat and drink a lot before you request. If someone attacks you while you are requesting (It will happen) you will "snap out of it" and the item will be destroyed. This is one of the drawbacks of being a good. It is also a perk very often. EDIT: Bah, Dey beat me to it!

If you try to request, and your heath/mana/moves are low enough that requesting may make you drop to critical levels, it will tell you that you need to rest first. Good point on the eating/drinking first though, nothing worse than requesting a Rare/Unique only to get 3/4 of the way through requesting and hunger/thirst damaging you, making you snap out of the request and having the item destroyed. Mudder
Well i'm not the goodie healer expert I'm pretty sure i've been requesting a big item and the tick I lost hp caused a "That really hurt!" Damage and I snapped out. ALSO! If you request an item that is very close to you or higher in rank, you will be affected by "Calm" for a short while. type Help Calm
Deykari
So if I con a mob' date=' and its within, needs a Lot of Luck. Which I can normally kill, it is reasonable to "request" said item. If it says, youll be throwing your life away, I shouldn't request?[/quote'] When I mentioned 'consider', I meant that you should use 'consider' to check the mob's alignment - ensure that it's a good-aligned mob. When you consider a mob, you get this: You cannot attack Pallendio, the Priest of Yaegar directly. Pallendio, the Priest of Yaegar greets you warmly. Pallendio, the Priest of Yaegar is about the same size as you. The middle line, that says, "so and so greets you warmly" implies that the mob is good-aligned and therefore you can request from it - goods can request from other goods. If you want to know if you're high enough level to request it, just go ahead and try. If you're not high enough, it'll just tell you to try later. If you are high enough, it will automatically begin requesting it. Dey EDIT: ALSO! If you request an item that is very close to you or higher in rank' date=' you will be affected by "Calm" for a short while. type Help Calm[/quote'] Also untrue. The calm affect comes as a result of requesting a rare of a unique. The strength of the calm affect is relative to the rare/unique's level. A high-level unique provides high-level calm. A low-level rare provides a few hours of weak calm. And for the record, I may suck at PK, and have played goods, but that certaintly shouldn't imply that I've played a healer - I've never played a healer. I just love goods. Marc
Heh, I remember the days when neutral and evil aligned mobs attacked you when you tried to request from them, took a couple of deaths before I learned. Now they just say "I'm not giving you anything!"
