Locked Moderate/Ruthless

I do not support, or condone full looting.

Even my most hated, and annoying enemies dont get fulled. They just lose some key pieces.

mostly did, and always expected (and usually received), a full loot, as it's a strategic measure.

Well I firmly believe that to have a game to play, we have to have OTHER people who want to play it. If your constantly full loot/saccing everyone, your not going to have players, your just going to have time to twiddle your thumbs, lead armies, and collect consumables. Meanwhile that guy you full looted just quit, probably wont log THAT char for a week +, and will either roll another char, or fire up a new game. None of which are going to help create a healthy meta for our game to exist with.

So yes' date=' I want the guy in his adeptus armor coming back at me, since he is now wielding sharp katana's and fiery daggers.[/quote']

Usually true, unless I have my life insurance up. Then we are back to square one.

seriously?

oh, and i'm not talking about griefing some starter. i'm talking 50 cabal mexican standoff style.

if you tell me that i have to wear a pair of silk gloves before i even dare to touch someone within my PK range these days, i might aswell drop my char right now as this has nothing to do with the game i used to be addicted to so much i even lost my job back then

Just remember, a choice piece or two will set them back hours... if not permanently if it is a select limited piece. There is a difference between making progress for your side and ruining someone's entire experience. Seek balance in all things.

Just remember' date=' a choice piece or two will set them back hours...[/quote'] ...and a full loot for a day or three. esp. dark knights/invokers/some quest.

There is a difference between making progress for your side and ruining someone's entire experience. oh contraire, imho.

Well... just maintain that conviction if you end up on the short of that philosophy. A day or three set back doesn't end if you log and don't pick yourself up for a week or three.

Don't worry, seeing your timezone, I think you will have many chances to tell me ingame how much you love being full looted

just to explicitly point it out -- i'm not talking about the casual player, but rather the ones who meddle in cabal warfare (not the RISK style thingie, but rather mano-a-mano knife fight).

Human being is a human being in my book.

I call impasse. Agree to disagree.

The playerbase has matured and the game has evolved. Full loots are unnecessary unless you're constantly getting steamrolled by a character and you finally manage that kill. But, as the saying goes, do unto others...

it's a matter of which approach you take i guess. is FL a pimped-up IRC channel, and you want to keep having your chats without an evil-doer disturbing your peace? or are you more inclined to cast a firestorm upon central square just because?

You can't and you SHOULDN'T be turned ruthless via application' date=' because that's abusable. Take DKN malforms for example - seems like a safe way of leveling malforms.[/quote']

Why a class that depends on not being killed to maintain it's malforms power, be better of, without the full rares suit that prevent him from losing in the first place?

What I mean is, sure Moderate status prevent you being multikilled by the same person, but it does not prevents you from being killed and multiple times but by diferent persons. It also decreases your chance of survival in battle but improves your chances of survival for the few hours you would need to re-EQ after death.

For me Moderate tier DK greatness is in it's comeback power.

You get to keep those bags of consumable, and 90% of the gear allowing you to get more PK expertise by decreasing down time.

This is great for cabals with multiple wars, such as Nexus and Tribunal.

I have seen them both have 3 vendettas at the same time.

Also, I can see Moderates Tribunals as a great balancer, because as you know, captured wanteds only lose 2-3 pices of EQ. But if a Tribune dies to a Wanted he can be full looted.

Also we should not forget Moderates can only look gold or two rare items from corpses. No non-rare looting.

Who is this guy? I kinda like him.

Something worth nothing on Moderate/Ruthless:

A thief can steal a Moderate's backpack (or other non-rare item).

Moderate kills thief but can't take their backpack/item back.

Who is this guy?

just a guy who loved to keep a firestorm running on central square. also a former herald from pre-wipe.

Well I am just of the firm belief that full looting someone is not tactical, 90% of the time it ruins someones day/week for play. As well as further demoralizing them. I can understand netting a "lucky" kill vs a decked opponent who continually wrecks you. But the point is you WANT opposition, you WANT people to play against. You want pk shakes. Wanting these, while dishing out full loots will not net you a desirable game. I mean hell, I die in Black Ops, I load out, and go. I dont spend 3 hours trying to get my weapon, perks, and grenades back. Also three hours is conservative. If your an invoker, nuke some of their saves. If your going so dick as to look their basics (I have been full sacced in MITHRIL, then had the same character waiting in thalos for me to try to re equip again.
