Mister E
Unlike savnt, I went out of my way to do every battle quest there was. I also tried to challenge as many people as I could and stick to my drunken rp as well as I could while trying to stay alive. I realize this wasn't a "power" combo, but I thought I would have a lot of fun. Seems I reached a wall though and I just dont know what more I had to do. Was sitting at trusted for weeks to no avail. Props to the Warmasters that took the time to rp/pk with me, props to filnif, and props to the syndicate for being so damn good at their jobs (I love hating you guys). I wish this post could have come a month from now and be a condeath, but I was just getting beatdown all kinds, a non-giant melee can be tough as hell. Also, I figured if I got into WM I'd start getting some skills that might help me out, guess we'll never know. Again, thanks to all who interected with me, time to try my luck in a different cabal, no disrespect to Thinoth but I just never ever saw him. Maybe we had conflicting time zones or something but it didnt look like I was getting anywhere. /---------------\/----------------------------------------------\ | Durlar || the Knight of Fury | \---------------/\----------------------------------------------/ | Str: 21(21) || Level: 50 Sex: M Age : 325(125h) | | Int: 18(18) || Class: berserker Ethos: chaotic | | Wis: 21(21) || Race : dwarf Align: neutral | | Dex: 18(18) || Hp : 1293/1293 Exp : 66746/532654 | | Con: 21(21) || Mana : 587/587 | \ Lck: [||||--] \/ Move : 420/420 +Hit: 6 +Dam: 7 / /---------------/\------------------/\--------------------------\ | ARMOR || SAVES || Deity : Malchaeius | | Slash : 70 || Spell : 0 || Faith : Chaos | | Pierce: 70 || Afflictive : 0 || Weight: 14/425 | | Blunt : 70 || Maledictive: 0 || Items : 4/35 | | Magic : 70 || Mental : 0 || Prac : 22 Train: 0 | | || || Gold : 617 | \---------------\/------------------\/--------------------------/ / Condition: You are a bit worn out from your wounds. \ | You are drunk. | \---------------------------------------------------------------/ Level 1: axe 100 dagger 100 flail 100 mace 100 polearm 102 shield block 100 spear 100 sword 100 enhanced damage 100 hand to hand 100 recall 100 staff 100 two handed 100 Level 5: parry 100 Level 6: fast healing 100 rage 100 Level 7: second attack 100 Level 8: dirt kicking 100 Level 10: relax 78 swing 100 Level 13: charge 99 Level 15: trip 92 bodyslam 100 Level 16: berserk 103 haggle 86 Level 17: dual wield 100 roar 97 Level 18: meditation 100 Level 19: third attack 100 Level 20: warcry 82 Level 21: dodge 100 Level 22: weapon cleave 100 Level 23: shield cleave 85 Level 25: lore 1 Level 27: regeneration 93 Level 30: path of anger 100 Level 33: headbutt 100 Level 36: haymaker 100 Level 38: double grip 100 Level 42: polearm expert 100 Level 46: skull crusher
Implementor Anume Posted January 26, 2007 Implementor Report Share Posted January 26, 2007 Next time how about you send the Imm of your intended cabal a short note with what they would like you to do (and what you have done already) before you delete. If you don't like the answer you can still delete, if you do like it you just might get caballed.
Mister E
Being extremily inexperienced in cabals, I didnt think that bugging the imm would help. I figured the clan quests are there for a reason, and ones pk record is there for imms to see if at least the player is making an effort. I also had a bad experience trying to rp with Thinoth so I figured id just keep on doing quests and challenges and see if I wouldnt get a shot to apply. Mindflayer
Thorghull enjoyed his interactions with "Little Angry"... you should have stuck it out, a dwarven berserker can be a thorn in Suunmar's side, ask Bazin

Chromatic
I just signed on one day and my ranger was a WM. But he did serve as a battle I alone and with a few others for nearly 4 IG years, I dunno how long that is RL, but it was long enough for all those he grew in rank with to get caballed and Trusted. Mister E
In general is it easier to get into an underdog cabal? Or is it harder since they have less representation and dont want the one member they have to be anything less than a vet?
savnt
I've caballed the last million of so chars I've had except for ut. For the most part, I've always gone for the same three, Watcher, Syndi, and Tribunal. Every time, they were the underdog, and every time, it took me little over a week. Balgashang
I think its much easier to get into an underdog/inactive cabal, period. Do your best, you'll likely get cabaled by one that needs help quicker then by one on top of thier game. The ones in power can always afford to be selective. Mister E
damn, like i said I was T for 2 weeks...i just dont get it....I thought about trying for tribunal again since they are really weak right now, but then I remember what happened to my last Militia....that still doesnt answer my question tho edit: that was re:savnt, posted at the same time as you B.
