A Fond Farewell

Well, my friends, the time has come. As all good things must

come to an end, so has my time here. Between taking on a

second job, taking twelve college credits as a senior in high

school, and various other activities, I will be taking my leave.

I don't want there to be any hard feelings between myself and

any other players. You all are, without a doubt, one of the few

things that enabled me to keep my sanity over the last few

years. You are all an extremely supportive group of people, who

have provided countless hours of enjoyment for me. In other

words, you're all freaks. Never before have I met such a group of

people who, with knowing only minimal information about a person

that may or may not be false, can accept them as a member of a

community and as personal friends. I would be honored to meet

any of you in person, and should the time ever come, I'll buy the

first round.

However, my time here as a player has reached its end, and as

such, my time on the forums must also end. This is not an

addiction that can be severed without withdrawl, and the biggest

part, as I understand, is severing one's link to the community.

And so not only do I bid you farewell as a player, but also as a

member of the forum community.

There are far too many of you to thank. However, I will thank the

people who are most important to me.

Behrens - Thank you for having some faith in me. It means a lot to

me that you even gave me a chance to defend myself, much less

actually accept that defense as valid.

Malchaeius - I'm glad I got to build an area for the game. I always

knew it would be an imprint that would outlast my own time here.

Chayesh - You sad, sorry, pink tutu wearing faerie. I'm going to

miss you. Sorry for letting you down (twice with the same qrace).

Deykari, Pali, The Forsaken, Tyorik, Archangel, Albon, Tantangel,

Rairen, Dizz, Despiser, and Festorvian - You've all helped teach me

a lot about this game, one way or another. Enjoy your time here,

and I wish you all the best that life can bring you.

To the rest of the playerbase - Don't feel left out just because I

didn't mention you. You've all been great, and I have a lot of

memories of fun times. Keep on trucking, and show some respect

for the IMMs. It's a thankless job, and I know everyone says that,

but until you try it, you'll never truly understand.

And so I bid you farewell. From Seretha to Andraxus, and the

twenty-some pinns in between, I've had a wonderful time here,

and it's been a six years I'll never forget. I am starting to tear

up a little, so I'll come to a close.

Advice about college. Don't let it pass you by without taking advantage. Make friends, meet as many women as possible, drink if you wanna, and don't **** up more than one class a semester.

Yo Bali, we have shared quite a few things I think, IG and a little OOC. Always someone I respected even if the rest of the player base (I included) liked giving you a heap of ****.

Actually I didn't 'come back' per se. I hadn't really thought too hard about what's gone on until someone emailed me recently about the unnofficial forum. Being the fact I couldn't find a link to it I did a google and up came the home site so I decided to pop in a visit here as well. Wont ever play FL again, mostly because I'm trying to push passed everything on that score, but noticed that this was posted and being that it's Balinor whom I haven't talked to in around a year or so now found it rather surprising because he was far more addicted to this than almost anyone I knew. God I feel like smacking myself for commenting again, I'm beginning to sound almost as long winded as I did way back when.
