Questioner
Tell me what you all know of the Military Academy.
Chayesh
West Point is the oldest of the service academies, from what I recall. The fort was once the responsibility of Benedict Arnold, who betrayed it to the British, if memory serves. Many of our great generals (and some presidents) are alumni. There is a monument to a great Polish war hero there who fought with us during the Revolution and then led the march to freedom of the Poles. Questioner
Ok. Now, since I know from the logical assumption that most of the pbase is affiliated with the military, have any of you thought of looking into it?
Chayesh
I did more than look into it, but not West Point.
J.Twendrist
My dad wanted me to go to the air force academy but thats not my cup of tea. I know that they pay you the salary of a staff sgt to go there, and all your fees are covered. You have to do a four year stay in the service afterward though. They only take people with extreamly high GPAs, unless you go to the service first, in which case you take an exam and the highest go.
Chromatic
I'm just gonna go ROTC at the university, since I'm already in. I don't wanna go through OCS because the people that I knew were all screwed up in the head after it. First night there they had em drop all their things in the bottom of their sleeping bag, then get in, and crawl up and down 3 flights of stairs for hours.
