medical assistance

Let it be known that arm is now fully functioning again, albeit with a great deal of burning, horrific, life-altering pain. It was dislocated, but apparently my next door neighbor is a nurse practictioner (sp?). She looked at it for a while, rolled up a towel, told me to bite down on it, and with some very ninja-esque quickness and precision popped it back in. She sent me home with a fist full of vicodin and now I'm gonna take a week and a half nap. Kinda makes me wanna roll up some melee or rogue class and play it sans two handed, shield block, dual wield. Would I get owned hard? Yeah most definately. Would I have lots of fun? Probably not.

Two post in this thread I stand behind 100%: J.Twendrist's and Elfdude's. That's some sound advice they have given.

I'm sure the greased weasel will agree, if not from personal experience but from watching it happen, dislocated elbows suck hard man. I had a big injurey on the shoulder and now I'm good for a few dislocations there a year, all because I didn't give it enough time to recover the first time, and I tend not to give it enough one each one there after. Sometimes you love your hobbies more than they love you back. But the good news is, if it does happen again, it won't hurt nearly as much, I for instance only cry for a couple of hours after each one, instead of a couple of days.

But yeah, how did it happen?
