HBwillie
Diego " The NIGHTMARE" Sanchez nuff said. Also defeated subpar opponents. I think he's got a hell of a lot more talent than Sylvia, however. Did you see the Parisyan/Sanchez fight? One of the most exciting I've ever seen. KRins
I'm partial to Matt Hughes, but I haven't seen much MMA recently (as in the last year or so).

Penn Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic Georges "Rush" St. Pierre Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto "The Axe Murderer" Wanderlei Silva Quinton "Rampage" Jackson Anderson "The Spider" Silva Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira I can only dispute BJ Penn ( get some endurance and he is back in that spot , till then, off the list ) and Anderson Silva, I think it was his 100% at Thai fighting, vs Franklin 1% for a Forsakenlands reference. I think folks are going to catch up to him quickly. Where is Tim the MAINIAC Slyvia... no respect I tell ya. ( I think he loses his belt to the next true heavyweight contender in the UFC ) UFC Saturday night!! Kills me for the $42.99 though!
HBwillie
If the list were ordered, Penn would be last, due only to his last performance. He was an outstanding fighter before he left. Give him some time and he wreaks havoc on the MMA scene all over again. Anderson? Over-rated, maybe. He demolished the UFC champ, but then again, UFC lacks talent at that weight. Finally...Tim Sylvia. Eyeseeu. I'm not impressed. He has a pain tolerance, I'll give him that...or maybe he's just an idiot who doesn't realize his arm is broken. He has no submission ability. No grappling ability. Any well-rounded fighter will take his title. Crocop will be the champion as soon as he is granted a shot.

Grishnak
Cro-Cop might be the scariest man I've ever seen, Pujinowski from World's Strongest Man not included. Just watch his training video/interview and you'll understand why. And did you see his debut fight? Granted it was against an untested and sub-par opponent, but his style if you've watched any of his MMA history is like that in every fight. Head on, offensive action. I can't imagine being kicked by that guy.
KRins
I can...I imagine it would hurt a lot and I would probably have a broken nose and a nice long involuntary nap. He should market himself as a sleep aid, if he was smart he could make millions.

Grishnak
What makes Pujinowski (yeah, it's misspelled) so scary isn't necessarily his size. He's absolutely hands down just flat out STRONGER than everyone on the planet. And I'm not kidding.

KRins
Anyone who loves Tim Sylvia...I'm sorry but your boy took a hardcore beatdown. This is the greatest proof that real wrestling (not WWE or whatever it is these days) is probably one of the nasty, brutal sports ever. I feel like shining my state champ medal right now... HBwillie
bwahaha! now couture defends until crocop gets his shot. then, i give it 70/30 to crocop. if randy gets him down without eating a kick, he's going to have to work to keep him there.
KRins
I think Crocop will own him because Couture always seems to want to strike with anyone in the beginning...if he would just get over his pride thing and make it a pure takedown match he might win...course crocop might just jack him up when he is shooting in. tassinvegeta
Randy really became my hero just by beating Tim. God I hated that guy, and not for any particular reason either. I think he just has that "Hate me" aura about him.

He does like to strike, but he is not an idiot either, he knows he cannot match strikes with Crocop. If he wants to beat him he is gonna have to go for a ground and pound.
