tassinvegeta
Seems like its Ogre rangers, Battlemages, and definitely Blademasters right now. We've got tough blademasters in almost each cabal, that should tell something.

Mindflayer
You guys left out Psionicist herald, for the win. They are so powerful that they don't even have to write notes. They just pop them into your mind via telepathy.

CruelEdict
Yea, this hurts a lot of new players who can never get to 50 because they don't stand a chance. Not much of a learning experiance when a Blademaster minces you up without much warning (nor a real way to do much against them). Many many buff players out there. Good luck trying to make your way up there.
goldbond
said if before and will always say it: blademaster concepts should have just been given to a warrior revamp. just like a massive ranger revamp. keep it simple.
L-A
'Powerhouse' combo's really depend on who is at top at lvl 50 - and are directly influenced by who is playing and what they like playing. A lot of it is subjective. L-A
L-A
I just think it's wrong that every time I start a new character. I see three or four characters sportin deso' date=' gear, disch equipment. You know they can't get it on their own, or with a group of pinns. I mean, it made me mad enough that I could never equip my pinns that I made lowbies specifically to hoard items till i figure I'll want to go collect them on my pinn. Drop, sac, quit. log, head to item, kill 1, leave area, kill again, get item. go on about business.[/quote'] Despite what Behrens said I just have to say that people like you are the reason that this game can be less fun than it should be. To me, you are a perfect example of someone who thinks the world owes then, doesn't want to really work for anything and resent people who have actually developed some skill and are reaping the rewards of it. Why don't you go play some where else. I for one could deal with the pbase being tha tmuch smaller knowing that we had one less cheat spoiling a game that many people put a lot of work into to enjoy. Guest emp_newb
Can a elven Battlemage defeat a Fire warrior ? Yes. Its more about hit and run, your not outdamaging a well armed fire giant, but hes not healing as quick as your slowed elven crappyness. Pick where you fight, make sure your upkeeps are up, and your prepped, and go for the gold.
mya
What about Blademasters ? Can BMG take them easy ? If not, what is a Blademaster bane ? Paladins ?
Implementor Anume Posted March 11, 2007 Implementor Report Share Posted March 11, 2007 Battlemage - warrior is always uphill for the warrior (equal skill, similar armor quality). There are several classes that have the potential to do very well against a blademaster, anything the blademaster doesn't have a very high anatomy in will do considerably better than one of his expertices/mastery. Mmm Coffee
Can a elven Battlemage defeat a Fire warrior ? A melee class is a bmg's breakfast. Especially one with a magic vuln...and second to that, one who you can protect yourself against (prot evil) if you are goodie.
Pali
Evil melees can still get protection from good. It's just more of a pain.
L-A
Evil melees can still get protection from good. It's just more of a pain. Everyone has easy access protection now. Bit more of a level playing field :-) Bmage vs other melee is an interesting battle if everyone is eq'd and knows what they are doing. Maybe a slight advantage to the bmage in a bmage vs warrior matchup. Chor: How many of these cheats did you report to the IMMs? What gives you the right to go and cheat yourself because others are doing it? If these other 'twenty' jumped off a bridge would you? L-A
Guest emp_newb
From my experience playing a blm, the bane is an evil cleric not of your expert/mastery. Or well played invokers
