I set a delpass in case of rage, but that's not the cause of this. It was time to let go. I apologize to everyone I abandoned. The list of characters, immortals, and friends I should thank for my wonderful experiences with this character is too long for me to even begin to write, so to all of my friends that I'll miss, you know who you are, and to everyone that I had fun with, farewell. If I make another character, I look forward to interacting with you again. Alanthen is gone, and I have a life to go live. Goodbye, everyone. corpsestomp
Never interacted, but I heard a lot of good things. Good luck on the next.
Questioner
You were a knight right? I believe you did very well against them. Good luck.
Imoutgoodbye
I was extremely surprised to meet Alanthen with my first character back from a one year hiatus, Averet. It was quite the pleasure to see who was more humble and who was more polite that one day. Truly an inspiration to paladins everywhere.
Dizz
I've never understood the reason for a delpass. Congrats on the character.

Pali
I've never understood the reason for a delpass. Congrats on the character. Prevents TDP syndrome.
Evangelion
Prevents TDP syndrome. Hardly. When I have a little bit more time, I'll run through the first ten or so pages of General Discussion, and come up with a count of how many character posts have been deletions vs denial requests. As far as Alanthen goes... Very nice character. Got you once or twice with Pheredin, but you kicked my *** around the block a number of times as well. It was all in good fun though, and another set of memories to add into the FL scrapbook. I know you'll be back, so I'll impart unto you the words of Emp_newb: "Good luck with your next project." Deykari
Excellent character. One of my favourite characters, actually. G'luck in the real world. Dey EDIT: And for somebody who has taken a few chars to condeath now, delpasses are very helpful. Without them, some of my condead characters would have deleted, definitely. I sometimes even forget I have a delpass sometimes, slam delete;delete in, realise I have one, then quit and go do something else until the anger has passed. It takes coming onto the forum and making a post about it. What a delpass does do is stop you from getting pissed and deleting immediately after a death... which is TDP syndrome. ^_~
Chromatic
Alanthen is what I imagine would be the role model for all paladins. Great character. Across quite a few characters I considered him my greatest ally.

Deykari
Alanthen is what I imagine would be the role model for all paladins. Great character. Across quite a few characters I considered him my greatest ally. He excellently roleplayed a true, traditional-style Paladin, but that shouldn't suggest all Paladins should be that type. But yeah, your RP was fantastic throughout your character, and I enjoyed RPing and fighting with you a lot with Wymsicant (though a shame we didn't RP as much once we became Cabal enemies). Heck, you even RPed in the middle of battles, and I remember at one point you were willing to drop your affiliations with Knight completely because of an RP situation that Alanthen didn't agree with. I thought that was pretty damn cool. Dey
