Kinicky
I actually rather enjoyed this character - my first pinn, and I thought I did ok with it. Shamans are a blast, but I found it incrddibly frustrating there at the end trying to finish the kills. Most of my battles at the end would finish with the person feeing and managing to evade me only to find some random healer and cure my mals, or they woul dflee and get to some undisclosed location and die there, without me being able to collect their head or peruse their stuff. Oh well, I learned a fair amount with him in the short time that I had him, and hope that those who interacted enjoyed him to some extent as well. I rpobably would not have deleted, but I have some neat RP ideas I want to try with other characters, so I thought I would bid Allyrion adieu. Deykari
Didn't interact with you ever, but I heard good things about you in-game from other people. Seems you got a few people frightened. G'luck with your next. Dey
Aulian
You did bloody well for a first pinn, by god. Good show man, and good luck with the rest.
Mindflayer
At least you picked the best race shaman for your first attempt. Here's some tips to help you with your next one. The order in which you land your maladictions is key and it changes depending on what class you fight. Also focus on saves/+hp gear. And think of the Vietnam war when you play a shaman-Guerilla Warfare-hit and run, hit and run.
Nekky
If you take out a contract on someone, or are in Syndicate ... I think plague and visitation killing the person counts as a collection. I think only dying of hunger and thirst kills them without the collection thing.
Dead Voodoo Doll
I enjoyed Allryion and his cups of tea. You did well at pinn, especially for your first time. I hate that you deleted. Sac your equipment and quit playing him for a few months, but never delete.
Kyzarius
the often overlooked effects of enfeeblement / curse and poison /plague is the ability to immobilize an opponent... personally when i play a shaman i do this before even bothering with other things..also like to put hex always, heh...so if they do kill you or get away least they stuck with something for a while (unless they know how to get it cured of course) now things like mass hysteria, insomnia get applied as needed for classes that rely on melee or mana to operate...but usually after i have sapped them enough that if they tried to run they would probably only make a zone or two before being stuck. good luck with your next! Kinicky
If you take out a contract on someone' date=' or are in Syndicate ... I think plague and visitation killing the person counts as a collection. I think only dying of hunger and thirst kills them without the collection thing.[/quote'] Problem is, when you have a contract and it hits where they would normally die, they drop to a knee and the mals fall off, and waits for you to finish them (like mercy or a challenge). The only exception to this is dysentery, which still falls off, but the person is still hungry/thirsty. So the next thirst scratches and kills them... Without it, however, they got stuck somewhere on a knee and, unable to collect, they would sit there until their body recovers, and then go rest up - maladiction free. Implementor Anume Posted April 18, 2007 Implementor Report Share Posted April 18, 2007 Should have stuck with it longer, you were improving quite a bit.

Guest emp_newb
Shamans are a tough class to get a grasp on, I did not start getting comfortable with them til I was more than halfway through my lives. If you play another, you will see that you did in fact learn alot about how to play the glass.
