Zrothum
So there I was, hunting in the Labryinth and BOOM.....and big explosion shakes the house. My buddy calls me from the marine corps air station here in town... A blue angel just crashed into a subdivision not even a mile away from my house. CNN claims it "ran out of fuel" BS. They have gauges that would have told him he was low. They wouldn't even DO a show like that without fueling up. The news is sooooo ridiculous. Say a prayer, do a dance, do whatever you do....cause that is totally weak. Another life lost...and for nothing.
Questioner
oh man that sucks.
Pali
Gauges can be faulty, leaks can spring, and I doubt they fill those tanks to capacity for every show. Quite possible that he ran out of fuel. Regardless, as you said, the loss of life is tragic.
Zrothum
He clipped some power lines.

Chayesh
Gravity is overpowered. They are the best, Dizz. But even the best make mistakes sadly. I assume the pilot was lost?
J.Twendrist
Thats crazy. It's not often you hear about a Blue Angel going down. I remember seeing them at an airshow at Randolph Airforce Base.
Questioner
And he didn't eject himself?
Zrothum
Well rumor is he had a choice. Eject and crash into the houses or try and pull out of it and maybe save some lives.
EtsoShex
That's a serious bummer. We've lost one hell of a good pilot, I'm sure.
EyeSeeU
That pilot was not the best, he was basically what we call here a NEWB! Quite Frankly he should not have been flying for the blue angels.
CruelEdict
Or not eject and still hit houses ftl. Hrm. I remember those Blue Angel shows at the Air Station. How in the ever-living hell did a Blue Angel crash? That just contradicts logic, them being the best pilots and all. Go figure. A damn shame, to be honest. Well rumor is he had a choice. Eject and crash into the houses or try and pull out of it and maybe save some lives.
Pali
The best pilots still make mistakes, just like the best players still die.
