Deykari
DUDE. Do NOT take advice from anyone who plays a monk and practices dodge before mastering second hand parry. EVER. All im going to say is its obvious Dey has never tried training second hand parry when dodge or first hand has been practiced. Dey

Zrothum
Just as successful as Aulian's were, I'm sure.
Deykari
lol dont make me ask you how successful your monks were dey PK record of 29/1 (24 of those kills, and one death, being at pinn, kept track of my record in notepad) with about 180 hours clocked at pinn. No joke. Well, alright, maybe I'm blatantly outright lying, especially as I've never pinned a monk. Dey
Zrothum
Figure I haven't played a monk since I tinkered around on my buddy's monk many years ago...and with these new changes, I think it just might be worthwhile. Dump what bit of free time i have for now into training...and then in a little while when I can actually play like I used to...go full-on with it. I'll even master beads, just for the heck of it. Deykari
I hate it when other people have the patience to train Monks. It makes me jealous. Dey

Deykari
... I am absolutely disgusted that you'd think I'd give you ANY amount of dollars in return for a character. After all, I'm English. Will pounds suffice? Dey

Mister E
I tried to train a monk once, I thought it would be easy untill I got to the weapons...its just brutal. One measly attack per round takes forever.

Zrothum
That was a joke, I never trade either of my avatars. In fact, I've never traded a quest-app acceptee.
corpsestomp
Selfish bastard...
Zrothum
Just dumb....I've given away (not even a TRADE) two very powerful characters before. A knight leader..and a fully trained knight elf battlemage. (fully trained meaning everything. To include armor, shield, stone, air, locate, id, det_i, det_ma, terra, plumbum, blur, fae fire, rust, dispel, blades, etc. etc. etc.) Again...selfish isn't the word......stupid, comes to mind though. corpsestomp
I was kidding, the selfish comment was aimed at the fact that you traded characters, just not quest stuff. ie, you kept the good stuff for yourself.

Zrothum
Well, from what I've been experiencing....weapon training can be accomplished in under 24 hours. That's not really all too long.
mya
This reminds me the one time i was hanging around Mirhuv (Old Mirhuv) savant gate and this undead monk walks into my room and attacks me without santuary. Be had been harrasing me for some time. So i hit one Holy Wrath and he takes a <<<<<< Anialate >>>>> (or erradicates ???) and never seen him again. I never seen a character disapear so fast as him. Maybe monks are weak after all.
Zrothum
Undead monks are AWESOME. But yeah, the vuln will make you look like a playtoy in alot of situations. Just as any other vuln will.
