Tantangel
Oh how I hate Monks practical application. Easier to run from a Berserker after it drops than a Monk.
Zrothum
Avatar-Monk's kameha-meha wave drops your armor. Avatar-Monk's kameha-meha wave drops your shield. Avatar-Monk's kameha-meha wave drops your stone skin. Avatar-Monk's kameha-meha wave drops your protective_shield. Avatar-Monk's kameha-meha wave makes you pee your pants. Avatar-Monk's kameha-meha wave makes you realize you can't move. Avatar-Monk's kameha-meha wave only lags him one round. Avatar-Monk's kameha-meha wave just PWNT you. Avatar-Monk's kameha-meha wave just became a trip..... .......which became another trip...and another trip...........
Tantangel
Okay DB man. Monks give me nightmares so enough of that.
Questioner
*So then why aren't there more than two monks. And to be honest, monks can't give a smart healer too much trouble. *Dark knights aren't exactly a healer killing class. *Healers can't do much to an invoker because of mana shield, but they sure as hell don't have to stay there. A smart berserker + dumb healer = easy equipping
Lexi
A demon warrior with whip lore could keep a healer in combat..?

A smart berserker + dumb healer = easy equipping Wasn't talking about Healers vs. Monks, just Caster/Communer in general vs. Monk since I hate melee's. Ever had your protective shield get dropped by a Monk, air thrashed and then tripped to death? I have, and it sucked because I sat there and that's all I saw, my command didn't go through until after I died. Dark Knights not a healer killing class? I didn't think so either until I had one output an assload of damage on mine with all my spells up. Not as bad as the Fire Giant Warrior in Nexus, but similar and he had a pet. No, Healers don't have to stay there. One hellstream can knock out a piece of armor though and depending on the piece of armor it could be quite a few saves that go away. Smart Berserker can kill even a skilled Healer, things just have to go perfect for the Berserker. Similar to the whole Monk thing, anything like that can happen. Pali
Invokers do happen to have an incurable 2-tick blind that prevents gating. Be smart and catch him near his hometown, with good chasing skills you can drop a healer.
Celerity
(nonautosneak) healers should never be able to gate from a quick invoker..if you fight near the recall point, not so bad at all if you know what you are doing
Hegemon
Complete rot, Celerity. You have to either really really try to die, be totally inept, or fall upon terrible terrible times to die as a Healer. Barring the occasional lapse we all have that is essentially brain fart. You, I probably respect more than the vast majority, held up there with the other masters, but no. No way at all.
Pali
Of course healers are hard to down. We're just saying that a smart invoker will have an easier time of doing it than a lot of classes.
TheNewGuy
The number one healer killer has always been and will always be the ninja. If you just can sneak into that tea party. Btw, back to thread, anyone?
