Oh mannnn

So I had a guy come into a restaraunt I work at part time. He and his family (5 people total) started off sharing an onion rose (think Blooming Onion - it's big enough for 4 people). Then they had salad and bread. he ordered the 2 lb cut of prime rib with mashed potatoes. Ate it all. His daughter didn't want a salad so she got an extra side item instead, and he ate that. His wife only ate half of her meal and she was full. So he ate that. Then he got dessert (our desserts are huge). And he ate all of that. Plus his beer.

Funny thing was, he was a relatively skinny guy. Personally, my stomach would have exploded.

4 courses of food from a fondue place. 1 salad, 1 cheese, 1 stockpot and 1 chocolate. I split it with my husband, but oh man was that one of the most filling and satisfying meals ever! The stockpot had about 2 lbs of filet mignon, shrimp and chicken.... :)

50 ounces of prime rib. It was at Mountain Jack's while they were celebrating their 40th anniversary. They were offering all you can eat prime rib for $20.

This was after having the soup and two sides. One of the reasons I stopped was because they were closing. With more time, I may have went for 60 ounces.

And yes, the last bite was as good as the first.

The most I ever put into me was just a pizza and that was 12+ years ago. Now I can barely eat anything and tend to get full. Subway isn't a good way of measuring how much you ate though. Their food is like air it seems like, it takes me twice as much of their food to become full than anything else.

It wasn't a way of measuring how much I can eat, just that I usually always eat regular sized portions of food apart from just once where I ate slightly more subway than usual to get out of paying for it.

But trust me, English Subway is absolutely rubbish compared to the US one (I've tried the US one). ;)

Eight hotdogs, six burgers(homemade), a plate of potato salad, a plate of baked beans, one bag of chips and six glasses of sweet tea one night at a cook out after football practice.

Various contests in college regarding barbecue, pizza and mac n cheese, usually never won. Had a buddy who played basketball who could knock down some barbecue like I've never seen before.

The most enjoyable stuffing was one weekend camping on the Chattooga. A friend and I were hiking and camping with some geniuses who forgot their food and who thought we were gonna share, so we set up quickly when we got there and downed twenty ham and cheese sandwiches and two cans of beans while everyone else was setting up. Needless to say his sister, now my fiance, was not happy. Nor was anyone else so we had to pack up and leave the next morning.

Elfdude's right, the more active you are the more you can throw back. Unless someone is chirping in your ear every evening that you're going to have a heart attack in twenty years.
