I haven't logged on with her in ages, so I figure it's time to let her go.

You have 4 practice sessions left.

A mysterum invoker is really great, though this was my first invoker that I played to 50 and there was a bit of a learning curve.

Absolutely loved the roleplay with Alanthen. You enhanced the game so much with your Roleplay, though the cabal conflict ruined the RP portion of the game for me. A big thanks to the other folks who were around in her day, her cabal mates(I remember you Niddle!), the Warmaster opposition(Damn Lerris, you were a beast and your annual *** kicking made me a much better player.), the Ghadryn/Kronit/Ciuk era Watchers too, and everyone else I interacted with! A big thanks!

Additionally, Mestaria was going to be my attempt at a psi. I got the quest, but I failed it. I was so pissed off, I almost felt like deleting then and there, but I'm glad I didn't.

Anyway here is the psi app that got accepted:

*You stumble upon the corpse of a human rider and his horse. It appears that he was heading to Falen Dara through Elium forest though his trip has ended abruptly. Goblin tracks surround the corpse and anything of worth has been stripped from his body. An open saddle bag rests near him, inside it remains only a rolled up scroll with a wax seal.*

Dear Great and Wise Master,

I, Agrus Lenn, your humble and loyal servant write in urgency on matters of my suspicion. A certain elf female appears to be thrusting her nose into places where they do not belong. The matter at hand is of the Psionicist Guild or, as you refer to them in the ancient tongue, The Kyr'aal. It seems this elf, going by the name of Mestaria Trillien, continues to search on the subject of the Kyr'aal incessantly.

Your Excellency knows well that in the past we laid out the means to attempt the removal of any information pertaining to the Kyr'aal. We burned the books, removed the pages, and revised the history. Our "organization" was as thorough as it could be and, for the most part, succeeded. In fact, there have been few Kyr'aal initiates in recent times- if any! However this Mestaria has managed to piece together whatever scraps of information she could find and if we do not intervene she may very well stumble upon the path to the Kyr'aal!

Your Excellency may inquire as to what type of being Mestaria is and let me assure you that one would not expect her to make such quick progress. She is not even of noble birth! An elven commoner that was raised by her middle-class academic parents in the Elven city of Shazarazade. She happens to be blessed with a strong mind and this, coupled with the fine schooling of the Invoker guild, has lead her to quickly rise in their ranks. One wonders if it is not the masters of the Invoker guild we should place the blame in. As you well know sir, in the past we had made sure that the Invoker Guilds of the great cities kept their lips shut when it came to the Kyr'aal. As usual, the elven branch of the guild is the hardest to keep in check.

Finally, I have taken the liberty to attempt to "convince" Mestaria to end her search. I will not proceed any further without your approval, but I believe a few warnings will suffice in deterring her from her present course of action. Few things are as "convincing" as a threat to ones life. Do you not agree master?

Sincerely your humble and loyal servant,

Agrus Lenn

And here is my Cabal app:

Dear gentlemen and women of the Tower,

I, Mestaria Trillien, write to you on behalf of entrance to the Tower of Savants. It is an honor to be given the chance to be accepted into the Cabal and I hope you will approve of my submission.

I have come to realize that few people in this world are able to actualize themselves in it. Whether the barrier to self-actualization is self-doubt, ignorance, or anything else for that matter is irrelevant. What is significant however, is that one should confront the barrier. In the past, I have failed to do just that. As a result, I would amble about with little focus. It was this aimlessness which would ultimately lead to my downfall.

I had searched for, and finally found, the secretive guild of the Psionicist. The road to its discovery was difficult, because so little information on the guild was available. Nevertheless, I was given the chance to join their ranks. To each potential inductee are given several trials to prove themselves with. It was in the final trial that I failed and looking back upon that time it has become apparent to me that my lack of self understanding was the cause of it. I was not ready then. Filled with the self-doubt and confusion of an unexamined life, ultimately led to ignorance of the self.

My failure to be inducted into the Psionicist guild was like the blow of a hammer to my heart. Heart-wrenching it was, but I did not remain in despair. Now it has occurred to me that with every fall is a lesson to be learned. After the incident I decided that I would enter the Halls of Hourglass and this time I will not fail. Within the clan I was able to learn more about myself than ever before. It was shocking to realize just how many barriers had prevented me from actualizing my true self. Indeed, Lord Anithraril had once mentioned the veils that many wear and I was no different. So with this in mind I ask that I be accepted into the Tower of Savants in order to remove, with finality, the barriers within me and to embrace the pursuit of knowledge as well as so serve the Tower in everyway possible.

Man.

I remember when you first started out with that character. We were level 15ish, and sitting in Val Miran discussing your notes on the creatures of Drkshtyre.

Then I pinned Pheredin, and we had our little war. Then I pinned Lerris and we had our other little war.

GREAT character. One of the best rivalries I've ever had.

Gah Toriv! Yes, how could I have forgotten. It's been so long so do forgive me. I remember our little meeting in the Sea elven cay where we would discuss politically sensitive issues only to have Kanal listen in and threaten to tell our Cabal leaders :-D .

Kanal too, you were a great nemesis!

Oh and thanks to whoever the Imm was that played as the Walking doll in Irpel's house!
