Test Port?

Yeah, but who determines what works and what doesn't. What is balanced and what isn't? With what race is which class balanced and which isn't. I'm sure the imms make suggestions enough, but it's up to one man if they are made. They can't just all log on and run around like idiots with uber power combos trying to pk each other..........right.......who would do that. haha

who would run around with uber power combos to PK each other? Basically everyone in the game...exceptions to those who branch out, those with great skill who could really play whatever R/C they wanted, and those who just let their projected RP guide R/C choice instead of what is the current 'hot' R/C

Surprisingly, I'm in agreement with Questioner on this one. The number of immortals we have presently is not a large enough test group to come up with a conclusive set of results regarding individual class balance. Not in any sort of reasonable time frame, anyway. Excluding blatant errors in judgement, as well as advantages in equipment and cabal abilities, it would probably take at least a month of playing a class against the entire playerbase for an IMM to make decisions about a class' balance. It would take probably triple that to do it via the test port, with only ten or twelve other competitors.

Now, what you could do is set up a port, much like the one that was hosted some time ago by Savnt (?), which people could log onto, get armor, and fight. Assuming that there is enough maturity to avoid ganging, a select group of players, along with immortals, could test at their convenience, broadening your sample a little.

However, the likelihood of that happening is slim to none. Probably closer to none.
