Imoutgoodbye
I know the skill/spell lists for these classes used to be available, but now they aren't. I know Druids are quest classes. Are Healer and Shaman also considered so? I just don't know how many practices/trains I'm going to end up wasting.

Its been a long time since I've had a shaman though. Cheers, L-A
Venom
I remember quite an old post from Virigoth that said for each skill you get only 1 prectice session, so if you've spent 2 you will loose 1 per skill, actually I do not know if you are drow and spent only 1 per session, so the same amount of practice will be returned and you will loose nothing... Evangelion
L-A's right on this one, therefore elves and drow do not lose anything. The only real concern should be druid. For the other two classes, you keep just about all of your basic spells. With the change to those two at level 25, it's even easier, because you only get like... three spells that you lose. And if you're one of those two classes, you're most likely an elf or drow anyway. Druid, don't practice all your weapons, or all your defenses as a ranger. Worst comes to worst, you lose a practice or three. No big deal.
Aulian
You know... Ive been siting here for like 10 minutes trying to have something good to contribute... And I cant even remember the Druid skill set...
Venom
the other choice is to practice the skills only once , so each of them to return you a single point
Guest Birdman
I don't think you really lose out on that much. The druid conversion is easy--A ranger can solo rank with only a few skills practiced, so you can put off training the things you don't need for ranking to your convert level then see what your new skillset is. You'll lose a few practices probably, but it's really not a big deal. Everyone wants some kind of edge, I guess. And there's nothing wrong with that just as long as you're not fretting too much over little things to enjoy playing the game. Truth is, if I had no arms, I'd still have enough fingers to count the number of times I've looked back at a PK and said "Man, if I'd had ten more (or less) hp, that would have gone differently." Kinicky
Druid' date=' don't practice all your weapons, or all your defenses as a ranger.[/quote'] If I remember correctly, druids get most all of the same weapons as a ranger (if not all), and all but one of teh ranger's defenses. Personally, I would say to no tonly practice them as a ranger, but master them. Trust me on this... trying to master weapons and defenses while getting nailed with yearning is irritating and painstaking as hell.
Aulian
Yup be smart and train all your weapons and defenses. Druids get all teh weapons rangers do, as well as all of the main defenses.
Evangelion
The druid conversion is easy The quest is a bitch though. Especially if you get a world shift towards the end.

I've been saved by 10 hp many times, though I tend to fight right down to the wire.

I stunned someone's DK with a backcutter one time, so in that case 10 HP may have made a difference. I've probably crawled away with ten or fewer hp before, but I'm just too old to remember. It happens so infrequently to me, though, that I don't worry about losing out on one or two trains.
The Lemming
Had a FG warrior a long time ago and I only ever practiced anything once. To be noted this was before adventurers. And I had a great many fights that I won with 10 or less HP left several of which I can remember being distinctly at 1 hp. Then there are those fights that you get brought just below 1 hp and get stunned only to recover on the tick between rounds that heals you abck to 3 and you end up stunning them or killing them. That happened only once with that char and I think maybe three times ever to me. So yea, I am all about that extra 10 hp.

It was sweet.
Deykari
The ONLY time I almost got Zehava with Enell, was when we fought in the Ford. I got my spell in, the "Zehava has been mortally wounded" message came in, then the tick came in literally a second later, and he fled. I chased him from the Ford to near Marak, and by the time I caught him, he was at quite a few wounds. Dey
