Tantangel
So I have a myspace, just like millions of people do, and one of the people that is on there is a person I met a few years ago through both Isabeau and Gonzo for those of you who remember them, though mostly Isabeau and who had his own MUD and was trying to start learning how to code and such. Well, while I was on there reading a message sent to me by a coworker asking when I was going to be back to work or if I was going to go back at all, I noticed a bulletin by this person I met through Isabeau and Gonzo and it happened to have the word MUD in it so I wanted to see what it was about. This is what it had to say: I play an online game called "AstroMUD" which is a text based RPG sort of affair. We're currently trying to get some new people to give it a go. Type this into your address bar (the http:// thingy at the top): [edited out due to Mods most likely going to remove it anyways] It'll ask you to choose a name (has to be original, containing only a-z characters). My suggestions for the options when you "create" you character are: Race: tiefling Class: priest or fighter Deity: Syd Once you're on you can ask for help by typing "newbie" and your msg, ie: newbie Hi, I'm new. I play as Hairball, Remort and King if you want to ask for me specifically . (If you want some history on "MUDs" check out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MUD ) Now I know a small portion of FL players at some point in time caved in to make a myspace account just for the hell of it and we probably don't have the same people on our friends list so if FL is looking for new players, why not promote FL in some manner as this? Only people on your Friends list would be able to see bulletins and it might come in handy. I never even thought about it until after I had seen it on my bulletins, but with MySpace as wide spread as it is, it might quirk some people's interests and bring more players about (which might help rare count go up and I might get the **** I want for once. Besides, I'm greedy and want something that was already a bitch to get to begin with. )

Tantangel
Yeah, but sometimes it might pique someones interest to maybe try it out and see what it's like. Maybe they don't play MUDs yet, but they could always try and see how they like it. My MySpace is very easy though, www.myspace.com/tantangel
