Key Changes

  • Members of Faction Breaker receive two new spells (atmosphere/rp based)
  • You can now rank to 30 if you've submitted a dcheck by level 15.
  • Age and Birthdate removed for the bio command (allows player to rp their character to anyone saying this is not true via bio OOC info).
  • Avatars have been moved to 15-30 for applications.
  • Help files for avatars charged (help AVATAR, help AVATAR REQUIREMENTS)
  • New code option to set player flags.
  • The world has become a little more sinister.
  • Some changes to forum have been done, and we have full control now.
  • Three shoutout forum backdoors zapped, it is now completely anonymous.
  • Guests and users trying to register get proper messages and emails now.
  • Links to forum and wiki have been updated.
  • NEW DONATIONS LINK.
  • You can now choose which layout you prefer for the forum.
  • A lot of funny new smilies for your posts have been added.
  • Wiki is now controlled by FL staff.
  • Barbarians will now get a message when their trophy reaches maximum power.
  • Adventurers may now apply for a startweapon change after choosing their guild.
  • There is now a 1 tick timer between hypnosis and sleep attempts, similar to blackjack, to prevent continual sleeps.
  • Cabal items will no longer go into the jail bag on captures.
  • Bards can now be evil.
  • Duergar can now be bards.
  • Bards can now join Nexus.
  • Qclass skill w/ crusaders fixed for two-handed weapons.
  • Crusaders now properly get a 'quit confirm' message when over limit.
  • Cabal EQ no longer counts as rares for Moderates or Crusaders.
  • Barbarians can now use glimmering staffs.
  • You can no longer abbreviate outfit.
  • Breaker's revealed (help breaker)
  • Scroll of Defusion no longer defuses traps meant to be un-defusable. Also has a chance to fail.
  • You can no longer cast fly on people who aren't following you. (flight scrolls included).
  • Bash, bodyslam, trample, and other lagging commands have a higher chance to fail when used in succession.
  • When you sit, sleep, or rest on an object your long description reflects your action.
  • Autoyell command added so that you can specify whether or not you want to yell.
  • Vote reminder added to MOTD.
  • 2 New IMM commands added (imms can now see vnums in helpfiles).
  • Nofollow will no longer cause you to lose your pets.
  • You can release pets even when they aren't in the same room now.
  • Adventurers will now get up to 10 lives back when they remort.
  • Alpha invention system introduced.
  • Help Description changed.
  • Morlhach's history revealed.
  • Weapon seize warrior lore has been upgraded.
  • Feign warrior lore has been completely revamped.
  • Help Feign and help Weapon Seize have been updated.

  • A table for perks and their affects are now available on Wiki.
  • Drow and Elf blademasters gain +1 dex and +1 con. They also gain mastery in dodge, vigil, and meditation. In addition, their critical strikes land with 20% more accuracy.
  • Blademaster Guildmasters no longer recognize humans & gnomes as candidates for training.
  • Drow and Elf Blademasters learn anatomies twice as fast as their other comrades.
  • Blademasters lose acupuncture and gain healing.
  • Deathweaver requires a two-handed weapon now.
  • Doomsinger receives a significant buff.
  • Liches can once again paralyze, though at a smaller chance, with life drain.
  • Monks have had their chance to paralyze with life drain reduced.
  • Bone wall no longer acts as a protective shield.
  • Chii bolt (level 3) will now cause random lag, removes iron will, and removes bone wall.
  • Shoulder smash revamped for Crusaders.
  • Death grasp and PWK have been tweaked. (DG has a 2 round lag (1 round if it fails) now, and if you fail to PWK someone, you chance decreases properly now).
  • Additional damage high sight crusaders get when using a vuln weapon on vuln race has been reduced.
  • Halflings lose some of their resistance, gain slight vuln to weapons.
  • You can pick up Enemy standards from the ground, should they fall to the ground now.
  • Skills which go above 100 due to perks no longer drop back down to 100 when inducted into a cabal.
  • Owner only weapons/armor no longer count towards number of items in inventory.
  • History command added.
  • Voodoo now strips diplomacy, and makes you bloody as if you attacked the char voodoo'd.
  • Royals 'royal escort' command recoded.
  • Group range increased to +/- 10 levels.
  • Bio now lists the Race of a restring.
  • Faction list for Breaker works properly now.
  • Tattoos empowered and updated: Compassion, Purity, Tranquility, Scourge, Cycle, Necropsy, Neutrality, Combat, Nature, Church and Lloth.

  • Ranger's camp made more usable.
  • Beast call command slightly upgraded to cause less headaches.
  • DK's need not worry losing all their levels on malformed weapons anymore - only 1 level per death can be drained if they're not quick enough to their corpse.
  • Elf & Drow Blademasters both receive +1 train while rolling to make up for stat increases.
  • Living weapons (holy/malformed) have been recalculated and balanced in how they increase.

  • Diplomacy cannot be used inside a cabal anymore, unless you're a Herald.

  • Dispel evil and dispel good now 'reflect' properly when spell turned (ie, no more hurting through spell turning).
  • Killing mobs with projectiles in arena shouldn't cause you to get stuck anymore.
  • Unlimited ammo launchers not shooting back fixed. 
  • Age removes other forms of haste, as was intended.
  • Cultivate increasing items held fixed.
  • Work-around to putting rare items into backpacks has been fixed.
  • Owner only items being able to be put into bags when using 'put all' has been fixed.
  • Standards on ground causing crash has been fixed.
  • Drug addiction now affects gladiators and barbarians (just not WM inductees or warmasters who haven't chosen a sub-cabal).
  • Royals can now save the string of their guard where before they couldn't.
  • Arms Legend removable socket bug zapped.
  • Huge bug with tattoos zapped.
  • Death by Execution now properly removes bloody timer/fight timer.
  • Chii bolt properly removes bone wall now.
  • Faction talk no longer sends 'someone talks' unless you're the culprit causing it.
  • Shoulder smash 'crushed wrist' now properly affects all classes.
  • Fear affecting vampires, liches, and undead has been removed (fight effect)
  • Thrust has been fixed for vampires (sometimes 0 lag was returned).
  • deity_lookup not working (EVER) has been re-written and fixed.
  • Pets not getting thrown out of cabal when enemy/other cabal member quits has been zapped.
  • Hanged man tarot card now listed as 'negative'.
  • Virtuous light can't affect evils anymore.
  • Eagle-eye perk properly increases range by 1.
  • Phylactery messages fixed for full phylacteries (x2)
  • Fixed Final Parting so that it works as it should.
  • Fixed a looping crash caused by Arena.
  • Small decobru bug fixed.
  • Underwater flags removed from several rooms in Falen Dara.
  • Druids/monks dropped gold now correctly show amount dropped when over-limit.
  • Multiple erroneous progs explroed and re-written.
  • Losing rares during a reboot? That won't happen now.
  • Bug with counting rares during a purging reboot fixed. (somewhat).
  • Critical strike Solar Plexus now checks against lag code.
  • Bug with learning languages fixed.
  • You keep your speaking language if you log out and back in again now.
  • Hunger/thirst no longer snaps characters back into reality.
  • EVERY pet in Aabahran doesn't go to the entrance of random cabals on character log off anymore.
  • You no longer lose a contract when Syndi logs in.
  • Egg from decobru no longer casts poison on those otherwise should not be poisoned (diplomatic, etc).
  • Avians can't cover their vuln with mana shield anymore.

OLC Changes

  • Message of Godforged Sacrificial Dagger fixed.
  • Most +spelllvl gear has been changed to face spot.
  • Some +spelllvl gear has been changed slightly.
  • Shield of House Erythane has been made more viable for shield lore warriors.
  • Reaver's Necklace and Bracelet of Eternal Lies made more viable.

  • EQ in Ralardia changed, new EQ added. (low-mid and high level).
  • Material of chair in minoma and some items in Sanctuary of Contraptions changed for storm giants.

  • The Puppetmaster Quest in Demon Pit works properly now.

  • The Great Black Dragon will now prevent passage to its brood while it has the ability.
  • Repair shop in Falen Dara made more useful, and a guard at the entrance has been added.
  • No_inout flag added to the imp room in Demon Pit.
  • Pitlord Agro'ves has had his steroids taken away.
  • The Demon Pit Puppetmaster has been eating his wheaties.
  • The Pitlord Choker is now rare, as intended.
  • The Archdemon Greathelm is now demon only, as intended. Non demons cannot touch the helm.
  • Pit weapons are now non-rare, but a character may only possess one.
  • Goodies who succeed in making a fully upgraded fel weapon will now show it off.
  • The Decobru Quest should work properly now.
  • You can no longer be summoned directly to the Pitlord in Demon Pit.
  • AREA now shows up on where command.
