RP POINTS RPP

General
RP POINTS

Role-Playing Points - RPP for short - are a type of currency awarded to
those players who make an effort to live the life of their characters. RPP
can be earned in a variety of ways;

* Roleplaying with others, or by yourself, while an imm watches.
* Sending notes and journal entries.
* Completing a character history (help history).
* Sending in RP logs to the FL forums.
* Performing actions or quests given to you by the immortals.
* and more.

RPP can be spent on many things. Each of the three major cities has a portal
to the Bazaar whose inhabitants - the Astral Conclave - offer a range of
items and abilities that can be purchased.

In addition to the Bazaar, players may also choose to spend their points on
other things available through application. These are:

`$[Items]``
* Restrung item, set with an owner and one color = Minimum `@80 RPP``
 * Only for rares, not uniques, and only one item per character.
 * Any non-unique item can be restrung at the bazaar for 60 RPP, but it will
   not be owner only

`$[Real Estate]``
* Personalized, permanent room = `@100 RPP``
* Objects for your personal room = `@20 RPP``
* Stationary pets or mobs for your personal room = `@40 RPP``

`$[Quests and Plots]``
* Create and run your own global plot (imm approval needed) = `@0 RPP``
 * Certain work required for your plot may have an RP cost associated, and
   these will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
* Apply for an important role in an ongoing global plot = `@10 RPP``
 * Will also require a commitment to see your role in the plot until completion.

`$[Character Adjustments]``
* Custom Title = `@60 RPP``
* Reselect selections (One per character)
 * Single selections = `@30 RPP``
 * Full selection reset = `@60 RPP``
* 'I'm No Fodder' - a buff for those who are struggling in combat = 30 RPP

Further, in order to apply for and keep certain quest classes and quest
races, a character must have a threshold of RPP they cannot fall below.
These are:

* Nobility now requires a minimum of `@20 RPP``
* Royalty now requires a minimum of `@40 RPP``
* Any qclass/qrace now requires a minimum of `@20 RPP``
* Race Restrings require a minimum of `@5 RPP``
* Trusted in a cabal requires a minimum of `@5 RPP``
* Cabal Elders now require a minimum of `@20 RPP``
* Cabal Leaders now require a minimum of `@30 RPP``

Awards and costs are subject to change without warning. All of the above can
be obtained through application. It is the responsibility of the player to
keep the needed points for their race/class/rank.
