The Nobles of Maelbrim

These are the first documents written into Maelbrim legislature for the cause of establishing Noble and Royal families for Maelbrim. All legislature in all regards towards Rheydin is now made null and void, and the seal of Rheydin no longer has formal merit.

Maelbrim has crested the precipice of Rheydin's former glory on its own, and is now eligible to be included not only under the Empire's direct jurisdiction, but also under supplementary noble families of high standing. Such nobility must represent Maelbrim and its character to all other cities, and concern itself with Maelbrim as having unlimited value and importance. It must protect Maelbrim via both diplomacy and force. This nobility is subject to the Tribunal Empire and its Maxim, as are all citizens. The debt to the protection of Maelbrim is not owed to nobility but rather to the Tribunal Empire, and the Maelbrim nobility cannot represent Maelbrim accurately without submission to Maxim code.

Maelbrim nobility must concern itself with the infrastructure of Maelbrim's architecture, economy, culture, and society. Maelbrim nobility must not and will never deliberately compromise the good health or right character of Maelbrim's architecture, economy, culture, and society. These are the good and right ways Maelbrim must persist:

The good health of Maelbrim's architecture is that it defends the where Empire as a whole, and its citizens, both from within and without, well enough that the city continues to grow in its own and in all other capacities. The right character of Maelbrim's architecture is in that of the Khorandian Dwarves mainly, but also sports the input of architects from all across Aabahran.

The good health of Maelbrim's economy is that it is in a state of increase, where both Merchant and layman can find financial prosperity even with smaller investments. The right character of Maelbrim's economy is that it is to remain neutral in its assessments of commodities and services, shunning no race or currency in particular, while also not favoring anything over the standard gold piece.

The good health of Maelbrim's culture is one that all surrounding cities favor. The right character of Maelbrim's culture is to be ethnically diverse, vocationally diverse, self-driven (city born artists and architects), and while neutral, standing out for its care to appease the Watchers by maintaining gardens, honoring the dead by maintaining the graveyard, honoring history by maintaining its library and academy, and maintaining leisure by maintaining the Milieu, tavern, inn, and temples.

The good health of Maelbrim's society is one of a growing population count, both by native births and legal immigration. The right character of Maelbrim's society is one of Maxim-fearing citizens that are willing to work in order to afford food, housing, and travel expense via the Gates.

Maelbrim nobles must not only agree with these standards of Maelbrim's good health and right character, but also be willing to improve upon these definitions upon committee. While Maelbrim cannot be forced to stagnate in these definitions and is privy to mutation over time, a noble of Maelbrim is vigilant and passionate about Maelbrim, and will not forget the hardship of losing Rheydin, nor the bliss of building a new city entity upon ruins.
