- The Maelbrim Sovereignty Pact [Eril]

/\ long the great walls of the Knight's Castle, Lord Kyris
/ \ Zyther, Sir Geoffram Galanosis, and Sir Zyneste Igantius
/____\ gathered to witness the signing of the contract which
/ \ began the transition of the rule of Maelbrim to the
Tribunal Empire. Arranged by Sir Geoffram and transited
through myself, signatures were assigned to the following
conditions [loosely interpreted here for legibility's sake]:
First, that the Knights give Maelbrim rule to the Tribunal Empire.
Second, that the Militia Clan be relocated to Maelbrim [roughly].
Third, that Thalos be renovated under 75% of the Empire's funding.
Fourth, that Knights receive pardon from past exiles and be given
rights to a full appeal process regarding outlaw status.
Fifth, that the terms be fulfilled within a lunar month, lest the
entire contract be voided.
As of this publication, Judge Hepheus has declared that
the contract needs modification; Lord Kyris assures that the
changes should be small and relatively painless to sculpt in,
and that resolve is still very close at hand.

- The Hamlet Dispute Continues [Eril]

| | fforts to free the Hamlet from Tribunal occupation continue |
| |__ but in a mote less agreeable perhaps than the one between |
| | the Knights and the Empire. Vulnerable due to confusion, |
| |_____ the Hamlet has experienced attacks and mild militarization, |
but in no way is the term 'civil-war' applicable. Fliblin
of the Lion's Pride has consistently turned down offers of cabal
assistance, since his goal is to help the Halflings return to a
state of self-reliance. When offered garrison support by Zaruuk
(evidently representing Nexus force), Fliblin was instantaneous in
his response: "self-reliance". Although this may not be accurate,
it has been heard that other Warmasters of the camp including
Dagnab and the Warlord Grylok support freeing the Hamlet as well.

)----------------------------------------------------------------(

- Watchers, The Careful [Eril]
  ___
/ ovarrubias the Owl, Makron the Redeemed, and Zahanist are
/ those mysterious eyes that watch from every tree line by
\ which travelers pass. As a recorder of events and a writer,
\___ I can only profess myself shamed by the inability to learn
about the motives of these powerful Warders and Stalkers of
our time. Perhaps this is what they want, however? Perhaps an
eternity of protecting all things natural cannot be marred by any
sort of exposure, good or bad. Call me a poet, if you dare, but
know this: I am an artist of meaningless fluff when I must be, and
I blush as I pen this, for in truth, there is no greater enigma to
me than the Watchers. Respect is due to them for this.
