The Quiet Woman
I see you lady, sitting quiet. You act so shy, I do not buy it. You smile as men enter the square. You fix your dress, or twirl your hair. And if that man should compliment, You act as if he is heaven sent. You bat your lashes, or beam a smile. And he grows smitten after a while. In conversation you touch his chest, Which greatly raises his interest. Just as he begins to leave, You'll turn him quickly by the sleeve, You'll smile and then look in his eye, You say nothing, but pretend to try. He will then plead you to tell him. You will then proceed to sell him. Pretty lady sitting so quiet, You act so shy, I do not buy it.
