Extraneous Regulations

Removed Tribunal Statutes · by Herald Mathicus Flon

1) Double Jeopardy

There may be cases in which a person is killed by a

Tribune in the process of attempting to apprehend the person, such as with spells like Power Word Kill, or the criminal dies to the Tribune before the officer has a chance to mark him as a criminal, in most cases, Justice should be considered to have been done, and the warrant to be lifted.

2) Killing of Pets

The pets of criminals are considered fair game to be

attacked and destroyed as dangerous creatures by the Tribunes in town.

3) Setting Traps

A Tribune may mark a thief if he witnesses the thief

setting a trap in town. However, if the Tribune does not personally witness this, or have two lawful witnesses, he may not mark the thief. This is considered a felony.

4) Rescuing

Rescuing is not considered a crime, generally speaking, as it is one of the few ways one has to lawfully and legally protected someone who is under attack. However, rescuing a criminal IS a crime, and considered to be Obstruction of Justice, a felony-class offense.

5) Tribune Behavior

Generally, bad blood caused from battles outside town

can cause trouble within town walls as well. Tribunes are generally not to engage, unprovoked, hostilities with people outside of town. If provoked by words or insults or attacks, however, although the law itself does not hold grudges, individual Tribunes may. Still, it is nonetheless highly discouraged for Tribunes to attack non-criminals outside of town, and in no case can a Tribune hunt non-criminals when criminals are about.

6) Changes to Extraneous Laws

As per the concept of 'Flexibility of the Law' under

the tome of 'Principles of the Tribunal,' these laws may be changed at any point in time, based on the methodology enumerated under the principle stated in 'Flexibility of the Law'.

So decreed by Lord Martineius, Councillor of the Tribunal.
