While I do not have access to powerful telescopes, I can look at the night sky and make basic observations. Most surface dwellers know that there are actually three moons in the sky at night, not just two. Dyphreties is a little smaller, and it has a very dark surface. Even when it is waxing into a mature gibbous, it is very hard to see. The moon Lysenties is always so bright at night, also, that it can trick the eye and prevent Dyphreties from being seen clearly.

Nercuros is always pale. It is very large in the sky, and is almost always full. It does not provide enough light, however, to rely on as a safe source at night. Only Lysenties does this, and it does not have to be full to have a high impact on visibility.

Miraculously, the moons seem to have fluctuating elliptical orbits. Lysenties will eclypse Dyphreties, and visa versa. The cycle goes back and forth, and it is very difficult to track from history how the moons will interract with one another. One thing astronomers know is that if the moons intersect perfectly in a triple-eclypse, great cataclysmic events unfold here in Aabahran. They must, therefore, be tied somehow to the Prime, although few cultures have ever worshiped them.
