Heralds of Aabahran · by Historian Dilorry Anah

Born five hundred years before the Great Cataclysm, I grew to maturity in an age of peace and prosperity. Those simpler times shaped me immensely, allotting certain freedoms that cultivated my love for learning. This thirst for the esoteric helped define me, so much so, that I found my system of beliefs in the paths of Knowledge. All three paths were pillars from my perspective; pillars that all things, even life and death, rested upon. These combined theological points of view created the cornerstone of my own personal philosophies. Something that, later in life, proved to set me apart from other religious advocates.
Never one to stray from the complexity of a subject I found all areas of study appealing, but none more so than magic. Having rose among the Elven people as a philosopher and poet, I garnered enough reputation to be granted entrance into the Invoker's Guild. I excelled as an Invoker, if more so in theory than practice. I certainly didn't earn much esteem from my contemporaries nor did I bring newfound glory to my guild.
I did, however, further my reputation by becoming a Professor at the Academy and subsequently a Member of the Heralds. My time within their Halls was plenty, giving way to future positions as Rector and Historian. Furthering my standing among the Elven People, I became a Lady in Waiting more commonly viewed as the Counselor of Queen Orelinde, gaining peerage, in my own right, as a Noble of the Elven Kingdom. I had always endeavored to serve the masses, especially my own people, but with these positions of authority and responsibility my efforts were improved greatly. I went on to be an original member of the Righteous Brotherhood and later a founding member of Caomhnoiri, organizations focused, as I am, on making the world a better place.
I have lived through the troubles of three ages witnessing the eternal struggle of Aabahran from the fall of Shasarazade, the Rise of the Elven Kingdom, the corruption of Ordaran, the destruction of Rheydin, the construction of Maelbrim, the forming of the Unholy Trinity of Unlife and the vigilance of Fort Blackwatch to name but a few occurrences. Aabahran endures knowing not all is lost so long as hope remains, just as I, Countess Dilorry Anah the Perennial Historian and Counselor of Queen Orelinde, persevere remaining forever hopeful. ______________________________________________________
