Shandronas gathers himself, and caresses the tome hidden within his robes.

Chamber of Expulsion

Upon entering the room, a set of stocks and chains catch your eye. Obviously created for holding a person still, the menacing steel contraption seems a grand contrast from the rest of the room. Inlaid into the floor is the same seven-pointed star as seen before, only this time surrounded by an amber Circle. There is a feeling of deep remorse and guilt in the air.

As you enter the room, the heavy vault door slams shut behind you.

The Circle of Seven seems to glow lightly.

Manheim tells the group 'Now!'

You say 'Brighid, tabhair dom do fhollain.'

The point of the star glows brightly, then fades.

You give the Book of Rites to Lethereal.

Gehenna scans the room, eyes wide.

Lethereal says 'Arianrhod, tabhair dom do shuil fuacht.'

You feel the air around you bristle with power and energy.

Lethereal gives the Book of Rites to Qax.

[Gehenna] 'No!'

Qax says 'Lugh, tabhair dom do Ghrian-geal'

The chains on Gehenna's wrists suddenly glow with holy energy.

Qax gives the Book of Rites to Apollon.

Apollon says 'Gwydion, tabhair dom do theanga airgead.'

A brilliant bright aura surrounds Gehenna.

Apollon gives the Book of Rites to Epurican.

Epurican says 'Oengus Og, tabhair dom do thinfeadh.'

A humming resounds in the room, as the Holy Power manifests itself!

Gehenna screams a soundless scream!

Epurican gives the Book of Rites to Lexicant.

Gehenna writhes in agony.

Lexicant says 'Rhiannon, tabhair dom do chinneadh.'

The room is suddenly bathed in a brilliant light from the heavens!

Lexicant gives the Book of Rites to Manheim.

Gehenna snarls like a caged beast.

Manheim says 'Macha, tabhair dom do chlisteacht.'

As the last chant is issued forth, the room explodes in a brilliant white glow!

The room fills with brilliant white light!

You are blinded!

Manheim gives you the Book of Rites.

Manheim tells the group 'Quickly, recide the last passage.'

Lethereal rubs her eyes and quints.

As the light filters and fades from the room, smoke fills your nostrils. Where Gehenna once stood, a smoking hole is resting in the ground. Korduun gestures for you to recite the last two phrases.

You say 'Mathair Danu, tabhair dom do fhoighne.'

You say 'An Mhor Rioghan, tabhair dom do fraoch.'

As the last words fill the air, a massive crack opens in the stone floor.

The room shudders and shakes violently.

The cries of the damned fill the air around you, then fade suddenly in agony.

Then, as quickly as the shaking began, it fades.

A small child can be heard crying to himself.

Sec now follows you.

Manheim dramatically collapses to the floor from exhaustion.

Shandronas smiles weakly, drops of sweat beading on his forehead.

Manheim tells the group 'It's....'

Sec says 'Ma-ma!'

Sec coos to himself quietly.

Sec opens the door east of you.

Sec crawls through a small door east of you.

Sec walks east.

Sec stops following you.

Manheim tells the group 'Sec....'

Manheim walks east.

You follow Manheim.

The Purification

You stand amid a room bathed in pure, white light. In the center of the room, a small black pentacle has been inscribed in the floor, with a colored candle burning at each point. In the center of the pentacle, a pile of colored robes can be seen covering something.

A large, pristine woman is here, cloaked in ethereal mists, seeming as if she were a ghost, or some strange spectre.

Manheim is here.

(White Aura) Kaylian, in a ghostly form, is here holding Sec in her arms.

Kaylian says 'You have found my child.'

Kaylian beams broadly at nothing in particular.

You gasp in astonishment.

Qax must like Kaylian a great deal to beam at her so broadly!

Manheim boggles at the concept.

Shandronas falls to his knees.

Apollon smiles happily.

Lexicant kneels respectfully before Kaylian.

Lethereal gasps in astonishment.

Kaylian says 'Shandronas, my old friend, you have served me in life, and death.'

Kaylian smiles at you.

Kaylian says 'For that, I can repay you only by giving you what Manheim has.'

Kaylian gives you the Glasses of Blind Sight.

Qax falls to his knees, sobing.

Kaylian says 'Manheim, you have served faithfully this kind healer.'

Kaylian says 'For that, you have earned a place amid the heavens.'

Kaylian says 'And you are no longer tied to the ethereal planes.'

A white aura encases Manheim as he is pulled into the heavens.

You smiles warmly.

Epurican smiles happily.

Kaylian says 'Qax, my darling. You have been faithful to me in life...'

Kaylian says 'And in death. I will miss you dearly, my love. Take good care of Lec.'

Kaylian beams a smile at Qax.

Shandronas holds the glasses in his hands...

Qax sobs in misery.

Apollon comforts Qax.

Lexicant comforts Qax.

Lethereal comforts Qax.

Kaylian says 'To the rest of you, you have my eternal thanks for the life of my child.'

Kaylian says 'I bid you all blessings in the future from the Gods.'

Apollon nods.

Lexicant bows before Kaylian.

You say 'It was my duty... And my pleasure.'

You wear the Glasses of Blind Sight on your face.

Vision fills your eyes. You can see again!

Kaylian flickers slightly.

Kaylian says 'Sec, come to your mother.'

Sec crawls into his mother's embrace.

As the light in the room dims, Kaylian and Sec smile at you.

You have purged the demon, and rescued Sec!

Shandronas falls to his knees.

With a small, wistful smile, Kaylian waves, and fades into the Light.

Before the Tower Altar

You stand at the peak of the Temple of Neutrality. A powerful high priest stand here, granting divinations and heals to those who are sick or needy. A large vault rests in the center of the room to place offerings.
