I really downhearty see no reason why they only have two class options. I mean sure, I guess Warrior doesn't do them much, but I guess I could easily see a werebeast bard (which I really do wanna play
) a bmg, perhaps even a ninja!
Open more classes to Werebeast
I'd say warrior, if anything.
They currently have three classes open to them - ranger, druid and berserker. I can imagine a werebeast warrior and a blademaster (not that this would be a great idea...) from RP purposes.
I can't imagine a werebeast bmage (or any kind of caster), ninja (how will you hide when you're a werewolf - you never will) or bard (tried siniging while you're a tiger have you?). They don't make RP sense from a werebeast and class point of view.
A theif maybe (its not a martial disicipline like a nina) - I still don't like the rp behind having a werewolf able to steal from you - its paw is way to big to get in your purse. Unless they are going to be coded to remove certain class skills when transformed and then what is the point?
L-A
I agree, I think warrior, blademaster, monk and shaman should be looked into. Shaman because werebeast are a tribal group.
Blm? No, cant wield weapons when transformed. I could see a shaman...sort of. Definately not a caster or a rogue. Monk doesnt really work when transformed either....Warrior I could see, maybe a pally or dk, heh.
They're neutral. Cleric's can't be neutral, thus they can't be shamans.
Ok, thief. That would be acceptable. I still say warrior is the only addition that really makes sense though. And not many would make one.
A warrior that can only dodge....seems a bit...lacking to me.
I agree' date=' I think warrior, blademaster, monk and shaman should be looked into. Shaman because werebeast are a tribal group.[/quote']
A werebeasts are neutral...
Oh yeah, and it isnt an ogre, elf/drow or a dwarf/druegar.
No one will want to play those classes
They will only have downsides, no upsides... I really cannot see any reason to include more classes for the race.
monk is nice idea, instead of hands he fights with paws.
Monks can't be neutral, and their nature is very "un-beastly".
Honestly, were-beasts are fine the way they are.

Just thinking out loud here...don't werebeasts get only three class choices because they have so many benefits and few defects? Transform, werepowers, enhanced ranger skills, and human-like vuln (which means zero vuln).
Wrong. Werebeasts DO have a vuln.
Then you know something I don't.
Just think about what you would do if a werewolf came your way IRL...I'd use a _ _ _ _ _ _ bullet myself ![]()
K thats a random guess, dont know if they really have a vuln and if that's it.
They have extreme downsides to their upsides, but their current classes shield those downsides, they wouldn't do well in any other classes, really.
