Liadon Xiloscient
I don't know if it's just me... but it feels like there aren't any good-guys in FL... Liadon is this goody goody and all alone in a hall full of bad-guy bullies. *pouts*

Liadon Xiloscient
And a traveling buddy... *sulks* I logged off to come up with a plan and to see if there's anything that'll help me out. I'm aiming for Herald actually. Are they generally good?
Demiterracotta
Rule one, guys are jerks. (I know, I am one.) Rule two, guys are jerks. (I know, I am one.) Rule Three, Drow are jerks. (I know, I've met them.) Rule Four, Oppressant is a jerk. (I know, he's my hero.) :D Istendil isn't a jerk. Klemsor is just freakin awesome. And Grum is a stoic nice guy. They're out there, but the evils tend to look for the young impressionable healer to sway to the cause of darkness. Edit: Nice guys get killed fast unless they're PK gods, notice the above examples. So eventually everyone rolls a psychopath just so they don't have to put up with it.
Liadon Xiloscient
Great... Doesn't help that I created her to be fragile and cute... *sigh* Is this the part where I play the damsel in distress?
Elfrosto
"One day, after a particularly fierce battle, Liadon looked onto the field and saw nothing but blood and corpses, and something within her stirred. She turned her head, and when her eyes returned to the scene there was something different in them, some new fire. When she returned to combat with her hunting companions, they noticed her fighting with a new ferocity, no longer the frail woman she was, but a warrior-medic, prepared to fight to the death." f0xx
Great... Doesn't help that I created her to be fragile and cute... You know what a real bad guy will do with something fragile and cute? [edit] Especially after you've put such a nice avatar?
Demiterracotta
Unless they're a dwarf. Then the Lass needs to go into Paint and put on a nice set o' Chin Whiskers!

Hilltop
Was that an ultra-squee? Healers can be a blast, only problem I had with Ardian is it was a pain finding resurrections.

Everyone plays evils now, and we don't need no stickin ressurection.
Liadon Xiloscient
Yeah, that's what that was. A super duper mega squee. In any case I'm having fun with the class I choose.
Hilltop
You will, I started here on Healers and they're still in my top 3 of favorite classes.
Mindflayer
For someone that wants pure RP, a healer is the way to go. Very survivable class and you can run from anyone you don't want to fight with a single prayer.
Dale
Yeah, but there are a few healer killers out there.
Twinblades713
Even healer killers... if you can't land blasphemy or something similar right away... it's like ... no good. Trying to kill a halfer/dwarf healer that doesn't want to fight is like Grim's sense of humor - It doesn't work.

Balgashang
I hate it when the healers that don't want to fight happen to be decked with gear useful for other classes, I can see getting the plus healer spell gear, but if you're in herald or solo, do you really need all the saves and ac? I never made a healer but halfling healers are own, I miss Tybs
The-Nameless
I had a dwarf healer. I ****ing hated it.
Kyzarius
only healer i ever found fun was my tribunal one, otherwise they just....exist...
Croyvern
always figured a Healer Tribunal would be difficult. Especially with the tendency for neutral Blademasters to go Watcher. No way to rescue the guard, or blind the criminal. Sartach took Tyberidis in just over three rounds of combat. Just seems the deck would be against you. Questioner
Healers are given a bad name due to some people shying away from the whole "healer" mechanics of the class. Just by looking at the playable classes you can see that the majority are killing classes with a huge skill and spell list intended for fighting others. Healers are the one exception to these classes and thus people are afraid to play one. The role of the healer class in the past had lent itself to a more roleplay nature (see RP logs - i.e. Khranin). Liadon Xiloscient
Then I will focus on making my RP ability BETTER, if PK isn't going to be my main focus then I'll shift what I can to RPing and getting my character into that kind of role. I'm assuming for large scale hunts, or treasure hunting having a healer around to feed the party and tend to there wounds would be a REALLY good idea. I've been having Liadon feed the masses in the central plaza's of the three main cities. Even practicing my smote and pmote RPing down in the sewers where she's feeding the homeless children. Needless to say I'm having fun.
