Torpol 50 Avian DK Savant Trusted vs Agege Mino War Warmaster Elder

Ok, I have hit a Wall and I have no idea what I can do to overcome it.
I used to have somewhat even fights vs Agege. But then he started to use Mace Stance, a non Elder power that
randomly calls the 'Armaggedon Smash'.
This works like an auto-spell that deals high damage to all engaged and has a chance to lag me.
Thankfully, being a DK, I have access to dirt kick else it would be even worse due to mino-charge.
Anyone has any idea of what can I do improve my odds?
