I wish I had started logging before this point. Pas, as usual at me laughing out loud
2 minutes into meeting up. Most notably, when I bought some muffins and slid one down the
bar to Pas. Without even 5 seconds passing, this transpired:

Leothyre buys some muffins.

Leothyre takes a muffin and slides it down the bar to Pas, nodding at him.

Pas CRUSHES the muffin.

Instant LOL by me, haha. Anyhow, before the events below, Pas had given Jervis and myself(and
Whinlen, haha) identification numbers. He had summoned myself, and Jervis I believe, to explain
that we were to be sent to heaven, or workgroups as he refers to.

Thus begins our log...

\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

You say 'HE107-5240.'

You say 'Correct?'

Pas clicks loudly.

Leothyre nods his head, mumbling the number to himself.

You say 'This was your Creator. No?'

You say 'Or rather, your designated number?'

Leothyre looks back at Jervis. 'Did you know any of this?'

Leothyre notices Jervis nodding off. 'Hey, my friend. May want to wake up.'

The Gold Dragon Inn Commons
The inside of the Gold Dragon is just as impressive as it's outside. The
whole commons sport very extravagant furniture, obviously neither effort nor
coin has been spared. The front side of the room sports several narrow
windows which let in enough light during the day to make the room
comfortable. These windows have been cleverly hidden under the dragon scale
design from outside. The customer can choose where to sit, be it on
comfortable looking benches which are located near a fire pit or on plush
armchairs, which are set in groups around small tables to afford the
customer more privacy. Near the exit to the stairs leading up to the guest
rooms an ebony bar has been erected, complete with ebony cupboards
exhibiting all kind of beverages the guests can indulge in.

[Exits: north east]

A long wooden bar spans the room here.

(Charmed) A young black dragon belonging to Pas is here.
Pas the Grand Master of Seasons is here.
Jervis the Questor Extraordinaire is here.
Tamara the Bartender is here, lounging at her new bar.

Jervis shakes his head.

Leothyre nods at Pas. 'This concerns you to a degree, I would imagine.'

Pas says 'Jervis has been selected to a different workgroup'

Tamara gives Pas a passing glance.

Jervis bites his lip contemplatively.

Leothyre clears his throat. 'So...Pas.' He looks over at Jervis. 'Workgroup, huh?'

Pas says 'The One God has identified his contribution to be as substrate'

You nod.

Jervis whispers loudly to you, 'I think he wants to have me killed.'

Leothyre clenches his lips, nodding slowly. 'I'm trying to piece this together, but yes....'

Pas says 'The soul will be preserved'

You scratch yourself on the head... confused.

Pas scans you with a red light.

Leothyre looks at himself. 'Our soul?'

Pas says 'The meager soul of Jervis'

Leothyre sighs as he shakes his head, standing to his feet. 'This Heaven of yours. This, Ixnus...where is it?'

As the red light scans Jervis, his hump seems to... Wiggle.

Leothyre suddenly jerks his head over toward Jervis. 'Jervis...'

Pas moves astonishingly quick, penetrating the space in between!

Leothyre nods at Jervis's hump. 'Is..is there something under your shirt?'

Leothyre struggles to look around Pas, but to no avail.

Congratulations. You have learned a new direction. Pas withdraws his finger.

Leothyre mutters. 'Pas, Pas move. There is something, in his shirt!'

Jervis shakes his head.

Jervis says 'My shirt? No.'

Leothyre reaches up to move Pas. 'Pas' he says, grunting as he pushes Pas. 'Move.

Pas moves to restrain Jervis.

Without warning, Pas drops into a combat stance, by instint. Leothyre reacts accordingly.

Pas yells 'Die! Leothyre, you sorcerous dog!'
A black dragon yells 'Die! Leothyre, you sorcerous dog!'
You draw your weapon.
You wield "Decobru" the Gladiator Broadsword.
Your flamestrike decimates a black dragon!
Your flamestrike MASSACRES Pas!
Pas has a few scratches.

The Entrance of the Gold Dragon Inn
The engineers of this building have soared far and high above anything
ordinary or common. This enormous project, which has just recently been
finished, will surely earn them the envy of every colleague. The likeliness
of an enormous gold dragon looms in front of you, easily reaching the height
of an ordinary two-storied house. Metal scales coat the outer walls, coated
in a thin gold layer. The dragon has been depicted lying on the ground, its
huge open maw constituting the doors. Huge red stained glass windows form
the dragon's eyes, formed round, rather than square. Even the spiked
neckline has found its equivalent, forged from gold coated steel plates.
The dragon's two front paws lie to the side of the entrance, each daggerlike
claw depicted in great detail and about man-sized. The beast's tail is
wound around its body, over the top of its head, the tip coming to rest just
beside the right front paw.

[Exits: north south]

Darvin, the Guardian of the Gold Dragon, is here standing guard.

Darvin looks at you intently, a suspicious look on her face.

You yell 'Pas!'

You yell 'Was that an accident, or were you about to strike me!?'

You are surrounded by a white aura.

Pas flies in.
A black dragon flies in.
Jervis walks in.
A stone golem walks in.
Someone walks in.

Pas beckons for you to follow.

Someone fades into existence.

Leothyre eyes Pas wearily. 'I seem to have tripped something.'

You now follow Pas.

Pas flies north.
Jervis walks north.
A cave troll walks north.
A stone golem walks north.
A black dragon flies north.
You follow Pas.

========We relocate, stopping here briefly============

Regent Avenue
Lined with tall trees and groomed shrubs, Regent Avenue is the western
half of the main east-west throughway that dissects Maelbrim in half.
Ostentatiously kept humbler than its position in Maelbrim would otherwise
dictate, those that designed it recognized that the role of a regent is to
fill the interim void that is left between sovereigns. While a sovereign in
power, the title is a reminder of the inferior position of rank. Therefore,
the road is not particularly wide, but it more than makes up for this in its
comfortable, aesthetic appeal. Regent Avenue continues west from here and
leads into the Forum to the east.

[Exits: east south west]

Jervis the Questor Extraordinaire is here.
Pas the Grand Master of Seasons is here, sitting astride a black dragon.
A bounty hunter for the Maelbrim jailer stands here glowering.
Pas says 'It is time for Jervis to be prepared for reduction'
Pas says 'We begin with exsanguination'

=====More relocating. Stopping along the way for Jervis to rest
and for Pas to tell us that we are relocating to prepare
for processing and deportation, more or less.======

Before Levitating Cubes
A curious sight unfolds above the trees before you. Large, windowless
cubes of some unknown shimmering substance hang motionless in the air in a
semblance of a tower. There are no evident passageways between the
chambers, and judging from the outside appearance, they must be quite small
and cramped within. Surrounding the structure is a circle of thin mithril
poles topped in blue crystal shards. As you pass through, the shards flash
momentarily, then grow dark.

Pas says 'Rest, Leothyre'

You rest.

Pas flies north.
A black dragon flies north.
Jervis climbs north.
A cave troll climbs north.
A stone golem climbs north.

==========Breaking into the Cubes ensues=========

Beneath the Crystalline Cubes
Drawing nearer to the cubes, you are able to discern details that were
otherwise unnoticeable. Intricate runes have been etched into every square
inch of the cubes' surface. Now that you are closer, what once appeared as
steel or metal is in reality flawless, opaque, blue-grey crystal. The
largest of the cubes rests upon the ground with a heavily carved archway
granting access to the inner sanctum of this odd structure.

[Exits: north south]

[NEXUS] [||||||](2) A Nexus Gateway crackles with hellish heat and unholy magics.

The corpse of An unseen force is lying here.

Jervis the Questor Extraordinaire is here.

Jervis walks north.

A cave troll walks north.
You follow Pas.

The Antechamber of Thought
Entering this chamber is deceptive to say the least. From the outside,
it would seem to be relatively small, but now that you are within, it is
quite large. But as large as it may be, it is simply decorated. Thick,
padded carpets mute your footfalls, and single color tapestries hang from
the walls. The room is illunimated by large melon sized balls of crystal,
floating on guilded iron latices. On the far side of the room, a small
alcove with a small circle of engraved silver runes.

You follow Pas.

An Improbability Psychoporter
This relatively small chamber is more the size of a walk-in closet than
that of a seperate room. The walls and cielings have been completely
covered in pure translucent blue crystal etched with line after line of
runes. Your feet stand in a small circle of like runes that have been
etched in silver. A gold sign has been carved into the panel before you.

[Exits: south]

A gold sign is here, waiting to fulfill it's purpose.
(Charmed) A young black dragon belonging to Pas is here.
Pas the Grand Master of Seasons is here, sitting astride a black dragon.
Jervis walks in.
A cave troll walks in.
A stone golem walks in.

A gold sign grows a small mouth, inhales deeply and begins to speak.
A gold sign says 'Antechamber of Thought.
A gold sign says 'Resident Dormitories.
A gold sign says 'Library and Mind's Theory Study Chambers.
A gold sign says 'Meditation Chambers.
A gold sign says 'Observatory.

Leothyre gasps. 'What....wait?'

Pas says 'Observatory'
Pas disappears in a puff of logic and a whiff of inscense.

Leothyre looks around. 'What....in the world.'

Pas tells you 'Here'

Jervis boggles at the concept.

Jervis says 'Observatory'
Jervis disappears in a puff of logic and a whiff of inscense.

You say 'Observatory.'
You feel a slight pull behind your navel and everything goes black.
As you regain consciousness, you find yourself in The Observatory.

The Observatory
This round room is surrounded on all sides by large, seamless windows.
Beneath them all, large, plush cushions have been set around a huge crystal
ball set in a brass cradle. A few of the Tower's residents are sitting
around the ball, with outstretched hands, and closed eyes. Their rythmic
chanting can be heard throughout the room, echoing off of the polished
marble walls. The scene is simply amazing, Val Miran to the west, and the
City of Rheydin cradled in the Dragon Tooth Mountains to the east.

[Exits: north]

Jervis the Questor Extraordinaire is here.
(Charmed) A cave troll lumbers about here, serving its master.
(Charmed) A stone golem stands here to do his master's bidding.
Pas the Grand Master of Seasons is here.

Pas brings you to a large crystal attached to intricate machinery.

Jervis seems to take delight at the cushions and quickly rests on one.

Jervis sits down and rests.

Leothyre is obviously lost in the moment, staring all around the room.

You say 'What...is, this place?'

Jervis stands up.

Jervis says 'I think we're in an Observatory.'

Within the globe, the planet you are on is seen from a vantage point that can only be one of the moons. Pas enters a series of commands.

Leothyre looks on at Pas, intrigued.

The planet quickly grows smaller as the view expands. Innumerable lights and stars can be seen in Pas's globe.

Leothyre leans in further, staring at the globe.

Jervis says 'Now I've seen it all...'

Leothyre smacks his lips, making a weird 'Un huh' sound.

Jervis peers around himself intently.

In the globe, a great steel sphere comes into view that is as large as a planet. Pas rotates the globe.

The air around Pas blurs and shimmers momentarily.

As the sphere comes into view, Leothyre's eyes squint.

A complex grid of circuitry can be seen on the planets surface. Pas clicks several times in succession.

Jervis stands motionless, unsure of anything around him.

Leothyre's eyes keep darting around, examining the circuitry.

Leothyre points at the sphere. 'Where is that?'

Suddenly, plates on the planet's surface begin to open. Like cities with no connecting roads, several transparent domes can be seen on the surface. Pas clicks again, then pulses red.

Pas nods.

Pas points to a green dome.

Pas says 'That is your destination.'

Pas says 'The elven biodome'

Leothyre leans in, eyes squinting at the green dome. He chuckles, albeit a bit nervously. 'Wait...heh, you can't possibly be serious.'

Pas says 'Or as you may call it, "heaven"'

Pas says 'There is no war on Ixnus IX...'

Pas says 'No hunger'

Pas says 'No disaster'

Pas says 'No disease'

Pas says 'It is there that you will integrate into the workgroup'

Jervis says 'I bet there are a lot of pretty boys there.'

Leothyre looks on, obviously in a small state of shock. He looks fiercly at the contraption before you three. 'What is that machine?'

Pas says 'Do you understand your assignment?'

Pas says 'The bio-dome is ready '

Pas says 'You must prepare your people for transport'

Pas says 'And you must prepare Jervis for processing'

Leothyre looks up at Pas, his eyebrows raised. 'Let's say, for one second, that I believe you.' He holds up a finger. 'Which I don't.' He nods at the globe. 'How are you planning on getting everyone there?'

Jervis bites his lip contemplatively.

Pas says 'The journey is short, through the maze.'

Pas says 'There are portals that do not lead to NEXUS'

Pas says 'The void itself is only a gateway'

Pas says 'The burden will not be on you to navigate the rift'

Leothyre rubs his chin, nodding. 'Hrmmm. And, who told you this?'

Pas says 'You will be sedated'

Leothyre looks back at Jervis. 'And you? Did you know any of this?'

Pas says 'Jervis will be there too'

Jervis says 'I don't even know where we are now.'

Jervis chortles mischieviously.

Jervis says 'A lot of excitement for an old man.'

Pas says 'His media will prove necessary for your rehydration '

Shifting his weight, Jervis has a pained look on his face as he leans against his staff.

Leothyre looks over at Pas. 'Where did you learn all of this? Who told you?'

Pas says 'If the dragons are satiated'

Jervis shrugs helplessly.

Jervis says 'I'm an old man, might as well go out with an adventure.'

Jervis hobbles closer to Pas, crouched low and holding onto his staff for support.

Pas says 'I am PAS, primary acquisition sequence'

Standing two feet from Pas, Jervis suddenly stops and drops to his knees.

Jervis says 'Arggh!'

Leothyre narrows his eyes, a look of both confusion and bewilderment stretched across his face.

Pas hands you a dangerous looking probe.

Pas says 'Quickly, neutralize the Jervis'

Leothyre looks down at the probe in his hand, still absent minded.

Clearly moving on it's own accord, Jervis' hump seems fear Pas.

Clearly moving on it's own accord, Jervis' hump seems to fear Pas.

Jervis says 'Ooaarg!'

Leothyre looks up at Jervis, and then down at the probe. His face contorts into a look of repulsed realization.

Leothyre drops the probe to the floor, with a loud 'CLINK!'

You say 'No!'

Leothyre looks down at the probe, then to Jervis, and finally to Pas. 'You mean to murder him?'

Leothyre looks around the room. 'Here? In this place?'

Pas says '3746382, obey'

Jervis removes the cloth covering his torso, and screams in agony, 'WOOaaH!'

Leothyre turns on a dime, pointing at the globe. 'How can you even be sure that is real? Who told you it was real?!'

Leothyre walks up to Pas.

Fingers, claws, even a face for a split second can be seen stretching the skin covering Jervis' hump.

Leothyre leans in reeeeal close to Pas. 'What do you think you are doin?' He whispers.

Jervis yells 'Yeaarrrggg!'

Leothyre spins on his heels, confronting Jervis. 'I saw that, Jervis! And....I've seen that before....'

Pas says 'Elves...'

Leothyre begins to slowly approach Jervis. 'Only....it was a bit smaller....'

Jervis says 'It hurts.'

Leothyre begins to circle Jervis, measuring a small distance in between his hands. ''bout this tall.'

Jervis wimpers on the ground, unused to such pains.

A bottle of milk shatters into a million pieces!

As Leothyre circles, he glances up at Pas. 'I'm sure you're QUITE familiar, no?'

Pas says 'I understand'

Pas says 'You wish to process Jervis in private'

This time hand reaches out from Jervis' hump, almost breaking the grotesque skin!

Jervis says 'Uaargh!'

Pas says 'At least 40076 humans will be required for processing'

Leothyre circles Jervis, eyeing the hump. He jumps back. 'Enough!'

Pas says 'The nutritional needs of elven transport will be unsustainable without continuous substrate media'

Leothyre drops to a knee and slams a fist into the ground. 'I've seen enough!'

The sun slowly disappears in the west.

Leothyre points at the globe. 'Between some made up world on a scrying orb.' He then points to Jervis. 'And THAT, I have seen enough!'

The continued violence in the room seems to excite the activity in Jervis' hump.

Leothyre bows his head. 'Lord, give me the strength. Be here with us.'

Leothyre stands to his feet. 'Jervis, remove your cloak.'

Pas nods.

Pas says 'Jervis, we thank you for your service.'

Leothyre steadies himself in a stance, feet spread apart, his hand on the hilt of Decobru.

Jervis attempts to scramble to his feet, unable to move much at all.

Pas tells you 'Preserve the soul, if possible'

Pas tells you 'Its capacity for energy is greater than what will be required'

Leothyre nods. 'Jervis. Jervis, I must ask you again. Remove your cloak.'

Jervis stops using an "I love Rheydin Rubble" t-shirt.

Leothyre leans in, examining the skin.

Pas says 'Jervis, remove your pants.'

Pas says 'And all of your trappings of humanity'

Leothyre looks over at Pas. 'That is quite unnecessary.'

Jervis looks up at Pas, writhing in pain and nods.

Jervis stops using some strong oak leg plates.

Leothyre begins muttering a series of small chants and prayers.

You are surrounded by a white aura.

You feel The One God's strength in your soul.

Pas looks at Jervis.

You feel someone protecting you.

Pas says 'All of it'

Your eyes tingle.

The Light of Virtue fills you with conviction.

His skin bare, the hump on Jervis' back is normal, albeit grotesque.

Pas says 'The blood candle cannot be ground with you'

You enhance your ability to stand ground in combat.

Pas says 'Nor can the titanium'

You feel holy and pure.

Pas says 'If the product is to be pure'

Leothyre approaches Jervis, slowly.

Pas says 'External objects must be excluded'

Leothyre looks up at Pas, a glint in his eye, as his hand clenches the hilt of Decobru.

Pas tells you 'One shot to the head should be enough'

Jervis yells 'Aarrhg!'

Leothyre looks back down at Jervis, a look of steely resolve in his eyes.

Pas tells you 'The probe is designed for efficiency'

A face suddenly pushes against Jervis' hunchbacked skin, mouth wide open it screams, 'REeeaarrrchh!'

Leothyre unsheathes his sword, and suddenly, without warning, he drops it to his side.

Jervis says 'Aaooaahhh!'

Jervis says 'It hurts. It hurts.'

Leothyre drops to his knees, a faint aura surrounding his hands.

Leothyre beings to chant in some foreign tongue as he places his hands on Jervis's back.

Jervis yells 'Gods! Is this what you want!?'

The night is about to end.

The smell of burning flesh permeates the air, a loud sizzling heard along with the beginnings of a scream escaping Leothyre's lips.

You yell 'EeeeaaaaAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!'

The beast within Jervis' hump sprawls and squirms, causing agonizing pain to the host.

The cave troll licks its lips. 'I knew followin' him would pay off'. Pas stares on vacantly.

As he continues to hold his hands on Jervis's back, the face begins to contort ferociously. Leothyre's hands being to grow brighter, as his chant speeds up.

A stone golem snickers softly.

Pas leaves the probe.

Leothyre begins to lightly convulse as he continues to lay on hands.

Pas hands you a bag marked 'Substrate'.

Jervis yells 'AoUaragh!'

Pas says 'When Jervis has been processed, place him in this bag'

Pas flies north.

You yell 'EEEEAAAHHHHHH!!!! Demon, BEGONE, in the presence of our holy Lord!'

You yell 'LEAVE! FLEE, in the name of GOD!'

A large, clawed arm rips out from Jervis' hump and slashes at you!

Jervis yells 'ARROOOAAAGGHHH!'

Leothyre suddenly flies back as a jolt of energy sends him soaring across the room!

Leothyre lands with a loud clatter, bouncing off the wall, and falling unconscious.

You go to sleep.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You wake up and start resting.

As Leothyre awakens, he grabs his head, moaning. 'Ohhhh.'

Blood covering Jervis' body and much of the ground, he attempts to stand up.

Leothyre realizes the grotesque scene before him. 'Wha...what, what happened?'

Jervis says 'I,'

Jervis says 'I,'

Leothyre rocks forward to his hands and knees, steadying himself before attempting to stand.

You stand up.

Jervis hangs his head low, resting against the wall and his staff, 'I don't..

Jervis shakes his head.

Jervis says 'I do know'

Leothyre wobbles a little bit, but is otherwise ok.

Leothyre looks around the room, and then at the blood covering Jervis's body.

Jervis throws a cloth back over his torso, covering himself and slowing bloodloss.

Jervis slides an "I love Rheydin Rubble" t-shirt over his torso.

Jervis says 'The prophecy is true.'

Jervis avoids your gaze.

Leothyre looks down at his hands, now bronzed and calloused. He looks up at Jervis's body, spotting what look to be small finger sized burn marks through a few tears on Jervis's shirt.

Jervis says 'I, I,'

Jervis says 'I just need more time.'

Leothyre looks up at Jervis. 'Prophecy. I...I too, must pray.'

Leothyre stares around the room. 'Let's get out of here.'

===================End===================

Thanks guys, that was an absolute blast.  :) The timing
of everything was impeccable, with both of your responses.
On point, I had a blast turning the page a bit more in our book.

Everything seemed to flow well between you two: I'm glad I could be apart of it.
