All around you men and women seem to practice blending into the walls and hiding in corners so as not to be seen. On one side of the room is a sort of practice set up with dummies wired up with bells. The other half of the room is dedicated to a shop of items that all thieves can't live without. Marked at ridiculously low prices are items that cannot be found this cheap anywhere in Aabahran. [Exits: east west] (Hide) (WANTED) (Translucent) Lisko the Grand Mistress of Assassins is here. (WANTED) Lykiss the Holy Shaman is here. (White Aura) Scallywag Pete stands here wobbling on his wooden leg. Lisko steps out of the shadows. Lisko nods. Lykiss nods. Lisko smirks, 'I.. feel a thing.' Lykiss peels back the hood of his oversized cloak. Lykiss grins evilly. Lykiss says 'Greetings Lisko' Lykiss says 'It has been some time' Lisko says 'Hey Lykiss.'Lisko nods slowly. Lisko looks at Lykiss. The bone flies from your hand pointing towards Maelbrim like a compass. Lisko says 'That...' Lykiss says 'Ah, yes' Lisko says 'Seems we go where we last met.' Lisko beckons Lykiss to follow...hmmm what's going on? Lisko glares at Lykiss. Lykiss says 'Ah, I figured as much' Lykiss joins Lisko's group. *** The party reconvenes in Maelbrim within the Boneseer's Hut *** An Abandoned Hut* [Room 11439] One of the last remains of the Boneseer's Rift, this hut has not been touched in the Maelbrim reconstruction effort. As the rift is still very unstable, the dangers of trying to remove it are obvious, so the populace decided to let sleeping dogs sleep and just leave it alone, hoping the miniature rift will return the favor. It hovers in the middle of this abandoned small shack, pieces of debris and the hut's past occupants belongings floating in its swirls. The roof of the hut is all but gone, the wooden planks having been either blown away in the explosion that destroyed large parts of Rheydin or having been added to the miniature rift's vortex. [Exits: south] A pulsating temporal flux takes up the center of the room, items suspended in it's core. Lisko enters the room. Lykiss enters the room. Lisko nods. The bone settles in your hand as the journal pulsates awaiting to be unlocked. Lisko says 'Well, I feel the time is..' Lisko says 'To do this.' Lisko cackles slightly. Lykiss places his fingers together at the tip in a devious manner. Lykiss says 'Ah yes... I have been eagerly await for when the time was ripe' Lisko holds the living bone in her hand and the journal in another. Lisko says 'Wonder how this works..' Lykiss says 'This I have never been sure...' Lykiss says 'However, anything... even uncontrollable... would be to our favor' Lisko smirks at the notion. Lykiss says 'You have any idea what is the come of this?' Lykiss raises an eyebrow. Lisko tries to unlock the journal by poking the living bone at it, 'Hmmmh perhaps this.. goes in here.' The Temporal Flux flares violently at the journals unlocking as sparks of magic begin tearing throughout the area. Lisko says 'None.' Lisko throws back her head and cackles with insane glee! Lisko says 'Doesn't that FEEL...' Lisko continues, 'COMFORTING?' Lykiss says 'Ah, yes' Lykiss exhales heavily. Lisko looks seemingly relieved while admiring the Temporal Flux's flare. The bright light pulsates and fades as tendrils of black Aether seem into the immediate area. Lykiss says 'Let us hope it isnt anti climactic' Lykiss smirks. Lykiss rubs his hands together in greedy anticipation. Lisko says 'Hope.' Lisko laughs insanely, 'HOPE.' As you regain your vision you notice something.. Through sheer force of will, you create 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time out of thin air. Lisko says 'A.. living plate.' Lykiss says 'Hmm' Lykiss leans over and examines the plate more carefully. Lykiss says 'Odd...' Lisko says 'Can you get anything out of that?' Lykiss says 'Not exactly what I expected' Lisko says 'Neither.. what *I* had mind.' Lisko pokes 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time in the ribs. Lykiss says 'I sense Aether pouring out from it' Lisko says 'Aether you say..' Lykiss says 'It contains some form of power... its measure, I am uncertain' Lykiss says 'Yes' Lykiss says 'Ah... a form seems to be emanating from it' Lisko says 'Interesting.' Lykiss peers in a little closer with no regard to his own safety. A flesh golem steps through the flux and looks toward you. Lykiss says 'Hmm, interesting... interesting' Lykiss puts a finger inquisitively to his lips. Lisko says 'Indeed... I wonder.' Lisko says 'If I should feel threatened.' Lykiss struts about the golem examining it further. A flesh golem says 'The ritual requires more power.' Lisko smirks. Lisko says 'Oh it speaks.' Lisko says 'Bah.. how anticlimatic.' A flesh golem looks toward the Full plate and then towards the party of adventures. Lykiss says 'We were promised a great and many things from this journal. Let us hope you are not the brute of it all' Lykiss frowns. A flesh golem says 'Names are irrelevant, we require more power.' Lisko says 'More power.' Lykiss says 'Power?... POWER?' A flesh golem looks towards Lisko. Lisko says 'You said this full plate... has power.' A flesh golem says 'You are mundane.' Lykiss hurls a harm bolt upon the golem only to see it be shrugged off. Lykiss says 'Hmm' Lisko pokes Lykiss in the ribs. Lykiss says 'Or so I sensed with my magic' Lykiss says 'Its depth, I am uncertain' A flesh golem absorbs the magical bolt as the Flux pulsates violently allowing more of the black Aether to seem into the Full Plate. Lykiss says 'Tell me ... golem' Lykiss says 'How do we give you more power?' Lykiss walks back again over to the plate. Lykiss says 'I wonder if there is something here it seeks.' A flesh golem shudders with power as the conversion of the shaman's spells fills the Flux with magic. Lisko says 'Hmmh.. do more magic, Lykiss.' A flesh golem says 'YOU will supply the ritual.' Lisko throws back her head and cackles with insane glee! Lykiss says 'I see' Lisko says 'But I'm but a mundane being.' Lykiss says 'Well, I've never held any fear for this sort of thing' Lisko rubs her hands eagerly while staring at Lykiss, 'Dooo it.' Lykiss says 'If it will potentially amount to something of interest for us... let us see' A flesh golem walks to Lykiss placing two large arms around his wrists dragging him to the Flux. Lisko smirks. Lykiss says 'Well golem, I will supply you with 'some' of my power. Let us see what this will profit us' Lisko says 'Think it likes you.' 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time creaks lightly as the plumes of Aether escaping the flux continue to enter. Lykiss reaches out his hands and places it upon the golems hands. Lykiss says 'Take what amount you will... I assure you, my pit is bottomless..' Lykiss throws back his head and cackles with insane glee! Lykiss gives off a haughty chuckle. Lisko smirks at what Lykiss said. 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time becomes animated as the dark plumes of smoke begin to fill the visor. Lykiss winces a little bit as he senses a strange current through his bones upon touching the golem. 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time reaches out an armored gauntlet consuming the flesh golem's magic entirely. A flesh golem slowly fades away. Lisko looks at the 'Infinitum' the Full Plate, evaluating it. 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time says 'You have released the Aether.' Lisko says '...and it speaks!' Lisko says '*I* was expecting... something else.' Lykiss says 'The plot thickens' Lykiss rubs his chin. Lisko says 'Maelbrim vanishing in a puff of smoke.' Lisko shrugs helplessly. Lisko says 'Well, lets see.' Lisko looks at 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time. Lykiss says 'Aether... what is the source of this ... ' 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time says 'We require MORE, give us your magic.' Lykiss says 'If what you told me about the journal is true... is should potentially contain much power' Lisko shrugs helplessly. Lykiss says 'How do we utilize this, however? I wonder...' Lisko says 'Think *I* didn't tell you much at all.' Lykiss examines the plate once more. Lykiss says 'How to harness this thing....' Lisko drinks milk from a barrel of milk. 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time forcefully takes hold of Lykiss dragging him to the pulsating light. Lykiss says 'Augg...' Lisko says 'Well, guess it takes what it needs.' 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time says 'Look into the void and choose your destiny.' Lykiss says 'Qui...te... a str... ong.... pu.. lll there...' Lisko stands back admiring what is transpiring in front of her. Lykiss says 'What... are... m..y... op..ti..ons..' 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time raises a gauntlet into the air as the plumes of Aether form around it with a blue light. 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time says 'Will you release the Aether?' Lykiss says 'Lisko... i may ... ha... ve.... tak..en... this... toooo... lightly...' Lisko ignores what Lykiss is saying, 'We will release the Aether.' Lykiss says 'If.... som...eth..ng... terr...ble... bef..alls... me... use ... what..ever remai...ns... to fo...rge... a in...tere..sst...ing... path... for .. us' Lisko nods rapidly, 'Sure, sure. Whatever. Just DOOOO it.' Lykiss nods at the Full Plate of Time. 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time places the spare armored gauntlet to Lykiss's chest the transfer of magic flares to the blue haze. Lykiss says 'As... the sli..th... said... do ... what you... will. Release the... Aether' Lisko says 'Ha..' Lisko says 'We may have trouble.' 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time draws the condensation into the light of his gauntlet as a blade of water begins to form. Lisko says 'And... its gone.' Lykiss grasps at his chest and gasps for air. Lisko looks interestedly at the forming blade. Heaving his chest in and out Lykiss attempts to regather himself. A admiring sigh escapes from the lips of Lisko. 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time releases the blade as it floats towards Lisko. 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time says 'Finish the ritual creature.' Lisko grabs the floating blade. 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time points towards the half absorbed Lykiss's chest. Lisko throws back her head and cackles with insane glee! Grimacing, Lykiss attempts a sly grin, however his body seems frozen in place. Lisko wields "Lykiss", the Kiss of Tears in her off-hand. Lisko says 'Guess this requires.' Lisko blinks innocently. Lisko says 'Blood.' Ever so slowly, Lykiss' movements seem to become more and more suspended. Lykiss lets off a small groan. Lisko says 'Well, this must be done.' Lykiss yells 'Help! Lisko tried to backstab me!' Lisko's backstab misses Lykiss. A winged fire dragon breathes forth a breath of fire! Lykiss's flamestrike devastates Lisko! The blinding light turns pale and a black void opens in the center. Claw like tendrils of smoke begin to tear at the rift as they enter the city. Lisko says 'The Death of you served a purpose.' The smoke fills the Full plate and radiates with a blue light. Lisko blinks innocently. Lisko says 'Hmmh.' You say 'We are the Aether.' Lisko nods slowly. Lykiss weakly bleeds all over the floor. Tempirion looks towards the mortals without emotion, 'This one will serve our needs'. Lisko says 'Think we did it, Lykiss.' You get the corpse of Lykiss. Lykiss says 'What exactly... did we do?' Lisko shrugs helplessly. Tempirion shudders as the Aether plumes out of the armors cracks surrounding Lykiss. Lisko says 'Released the Ather.' Lisko says 'Hrmh.' Tempirion drops the corpse to the ground as it remains lifeless and devoid of power. You drop the corpse of Lykiss. ***Lykiss is gone forever as his soul is forged in the hilt of the ritual blade*** Lisko glares at the at the corpse. Lisko looks at you. Lisko says 'You require more, eh.' Lisko bows her head slightly. Tempirion fades back into smoke and recedes into the Full Plate. You slowly vanish into thin air. Lisko looks at 'Infinitum' the Full Plate of Time. Lisko blinks slowly. Lisko says 'Wonder what...' Lisko says 'I have done.'
