She was able to land blindness on me which kept me panicked. I used up two red potions trying to cure it and didn't have anymore on me, so I thought I was quick enough to go hide.... Then you can decide to flee. Odds are you'd have been run down by the Vampire because you are panicked and lost. Calm down. Make sure you have 10 Reds on you and 10 Gyvels. Seaweed for flight. Make sure you have that. You can buy it in miruvhor. Do not fight when you are being tripped, you are a Giant and fall far to the ground. Make sure you are PREPARED. That being said I am proud of you for taking on such tough fights. Good for you. Practice. Learn try not to take it personal. Dying sucks but you will improve if you stop and study what you did wrong. Link to comment
Mmm Coffee Posted December 24, 2019 Report Share Posted December 24, 2019 One hell of an HP pool on that vamp, would love to see the log from Despeynia's side. Here's a tip for fighting vamps - ONLY fight them between 6am - 6pm. Always use holy weapons if you can. Keep them dirted as much as possible. Get yourself venom sacks to reduce thrust lag on yourself and increase bodyslam lag on them. You are right, that one bodyslam probably would have won the fight for you since she wasn't using sanc. Get yourself the chutchki charm from Vampire Mansion (ask in game if you don't know). Giant, heavy-hitting melees with decent saves were the toughest opponents for my vamp. Link to comment
Ali_gmud Posted December 24, 2019 Report Share Posted December 24, 2019 I am pretty sure most of those demolishes and all of those obliterates are coming from swing as he blasts a high HP charmie, and it's more likely the Vampire fled because the zerk was raged and stuck on their pet, so fleeing and re-entering with the pet taking the front is a pretty common strategy, especially against a blinded zerk. You won't break it forever, she'll have to repair it, if you cleave her weapon right before thrust, she'll be lagged two rounds from inputting the command. That's death. Link to comment
