I didn't find him that strong, also suspect he is played by a newish player, he made so many mistakes. We had a few skirmishes earlier but I was always fighting Knights and wasn't ready for him, this is the 1st fight where I was prepped for him. Looking back at the log I wish I had not done a certain torment bind, my water axes were not actually hitting his vuln in this fight. I can only imagine the beating he woulda caught if they were! He logged off after this and we never fought again. I definitely got the vibe this is an inexperienced player, he also seemed pretty slow. But now that I see he is pissing off some necros I guess he is getting more familiar with his class and abilities. I was a bit nervous at first because I kinda assumed this character was rolled to counter me... A magic resist blm stalker with 130 in unique, yikes! I find it funny that you can land 5 thrusts in a row where as I've never seen a warrior or berserker land 5 bashes or bodyslams in a row, I'm still not convinced vampires adhere to the same lag change as other classes. The second fight, I went deathweaver, but when I sanced up, I didn't switch back because to my two-hander. That's why I went for the critical strike right off the bat. Interesting perspectives though, thus far. Some saying I am OP and others saying I am a total newb and slow. I don't think I've ever been called slow before, hehe. -Faer Link to comment

Now when we are speaking of a Vampire and lets say Us and the Horde, the fight is very different. A blademaster in general will give us problems so to speak. Make that blademaster have an expertise and a mastery on us, as well as put it into a home where it will thrive against our kind, and it is nearly impossible to fight the creature TOE to TOE. Now due to the fact this being put all its eggs in one basket, it will struggle against others. So the secret to defeating this beast is to catch it by surprise, or let others around give it a beating. Just because something is difficult, does not mean it can't be done.
