The platform itself creaks and pops as the tower lazily drifts at the end of its tether. Beneath you the chains descend to the ground far below. The powerful thrumming sound is absent here, as you are shielded by the tower's mass, and the odd glowing barrier. The platform is made of random sheets of metal. The Goblins have left crates and assorted tools scattered about. Above your head giant balloons are visible held fast to the tower by what must be hundreds of ropes and chains. Some are even tied off directly to the platform itself. Tiny figures can be seen climbing all over the tower's exterior. Goblins hard at work making sure everything is secure. Jagged black forms thrust up through the sand, the formations looking similar to basalt but obviously more foreign. In the distance, a wall of half-translucent green rises impossibly high. A herd of ... Something slides through the sand dunes to the north. The creatures are similar in hight to a cow, yet look completely different. For one, they are a stark shiny blue in color, then they have no apparent ears, one huge eye in the middle of their faces right over a long trunk they use to stabilize and guide their dune diving. Instead of feet they glide on their stomachs, similar to a snail. You wonder how they will get up the next dune. He hit kidneys (101) and later heart (113 - mastery), so he could have blinded. Blind would hinder the necro, but the negative path's wraith has a chance to autorescue. Link to comment
