I would recommend opening with dirt kick, for starters. You ate too many high-powered attacks (several mutilates and massacres) while aiming at the Warlock, and being blind would have prevented her from instigating those rescues.

As someone mentioned, using a staff before transforming will give you top-notch weapon values to hit the Dark-Knight more regularly. However, I also would not transform so early on. You really want to save transform for post-rage burst damage, as it kills all of your defenses except dodge. You need to win some rounds before you rage, in order to come out ahead when your damage shoots up due to rage.

You aren't landing many attacks here. Any by many, I mean you landed one non-charge attack against the Dark-Knight. That's a huge problem. I would strongly recommend bolstering your hitroll, in addition to better weapon selection.

I do not play many berserkers, but someone else can confirm or correct -- you may want to try using haymaker against the dark-knight's charmed mob while you are targeting the dark-knight. This should theoretically cause the charmed mob to redirect at the Dark-Knight (and hunt them if they flee).

Final piece of advice: stick with it. This is the hardest part of your character's career. If you survive the inductee phase, you will be much better off in future battles.

You get a single improved defense. Dodge. Which doesn't depends of your opponents weapon.

From my analysis you are a wolf devastation berserk. This is one of my dificult fighting, because if you rage the dk can dirt and pet rescue and destroy you.

The DK was also unaturaly lucky, with his rescues never failing. But then again you were also on your charge landings.

I favor going transformed from the start and early rage, but this is a bad case for it and it wouldn't work for you because you aren't dealing enough damage. From the void ring I imagine the DK eq outclasses your.

The fact that you both aren't sanctuary and YOU can remove it is a big cut on your power.

What I think you could have done better in this fight was to open/land a haymaker once to debuf the dk.

You can also use dirt to draw out the fight so his charmie expires. And or haymaker.

If you going to haymaker, stand on water so you aren't blind. You can also open with haymaker.

Also watch out for ice/fireball. These are deadly when unsanctified.

This isn't really accurate. Werebeasts have a greatly enhanced "dodge" chance when transformed (sometimes referred to as werebeast super-dodge), wherein your chance is basically (base dodge chance x 2) + 20%. That said, you are losing out on two other defense checks (parry + two handed OR shield block). So ultimately you still have far fewer opportunities to defend than you would as an untransformed berserker (in or out of rage).

Here is what I would recommend trying as a "command flow":

Dirt Kick as an opener, always (with a few exceptions noted below). A blind opponent is a disadvantaged opponent.

Follow dirt kick with a roar to try to land that intimidate debuff.

ARE THEY WIELDING A BURNPROOF WEAPON?
No: Weapon Cleave
Yes: Move On
ARE THEY WIELDING A BURNPROOF SHIELD?
No: Shield Cleave
Yes: Move On

It's clobbering time. Bring on the Rage.

ARE THEY WEARING A SHIELD?
No: Haymaker
Yes: Move On

At this point you have hopefully haymakered at least some of the protections off your opponent. They will probably flee (unless they have command-stacked), and now is the time to pile on the pain. Chase after them using murder (not charge) for those sweet, unprotected, rage-fueled rounds of damage. If they don't flee immediately...

ARE THEY USING PROTECTIVE SHIELD?
No: Bodyslam. Duh.
Yes: Re-blind them using dirt kick, then move on
ARE THEY MORE HURT THAN YOU ARE?
No: Continue cycling through dirt kicks and haymakers. Use berserk as needed to recover HP.
Yes: Transform. Claw their face off.

A few other notes...

  • Against invokers and battlemages, skip the dirt kick and go straight for the haymaker. Rage and haymaker. You need to pile on the hurting FAST against this type of enemy.
  • Against dark-knights, fight on water as @mya said, because one bad blind and rescue, and you're wailing on their tanky pet while they're hitting you hard.
  • Against melees, focus on using attrition. You have fast healing + regeneration for a reason. Dirt kick at the beginning of the tick, flee, berserk, sleep, repeat.
  • Against necromancers... honestly, I would personally just go hide. I have no idea how I would effectively fight a necromancer as a berserker. Sorry.

Step one, kill flesh golem
Step two, murder flee. Pets no longer immediately join combat. You can get 2 rounds off to their one, then flee rinse repeat. Stay poisoned, stay ready to heal mals. THey also dont get sanc, so they have to lose defense (for non illithids) to be able to reset sanc and lag themselves. Watch their pets, as I believe the golems lose sanc a tick or two before their owner does in most cases.
