most duergars are.  He is bald, with the exception of a few sprigs of coarse
black hair sprouting atop his head.  Aside from his grayish eyes, his face
is mostly hidden by a bushy moustache and long beard, matted with twigs,
mud, and bits of meat.  His skin is dark gray, visible through several rips
in a tattered and dirty brown tunic.  A knotted rope belt around his waist
makes an almost worthless attempt to hold up a pair of frayed brown
leggings.  His hands are visibly gnarled and calloused, clearly hardened by
the rigors of physical labor.  On his feet he wears an oversized pair of
timeworn leather boots, which have certainly seen better days.

Ouch. Bhirkaan was doing so well for the first half of this fight. It was actually making me feel good about a duergar cleric, which is such an off kilter combo, normally. After landing that path with poison and getting dirt kicked, there should have been an immediate flee and some running around healing, but he stuck it out for a few more rounds blinded.

Some tips for Bhirkaan:

1) Get a weapon with flameblind. If he can't see, he can't eat consumables. If he can't eat consumables, he can't heal the poison/plague that your path can do to him. Which means you can cut his regen by leagues and give yourself some breathing room to heal.

2) Make sure said weapon does magic damage. Obviously your melee damage isn't going to win you this fight, but every little bit helps.

3) You might be a little overgeared for saves at the moment, honestly. Given your current opposition, which seems to be primarily melees, I think I'd recommend re-evaluating your gear and focusing more on a combo of AC + hit/dam, as opposed to AC + saves.

4) Don't forget to curse. He can't cure it, and the drop to his hitroll and saves is worth it if it makes your mals land more, your path harder to save, and drops his melee capability a bit.

5) Use missile shield. This is more general advice that I see people overlook all too often -- I can understand not using it in this fight, since it was just a (I assume friendly) duel. But it would have saved you 150-250hp in this fight, by the look of it.

6) Again, more general since this was a duel and not as relevant here, but the bait game for a cleric is the most important tool in your kit. You were doing well with it, at first glance, but then you took it too far. You want to stay at roughly 40-60% of your health once you start getting them wounded. Heal up too much beyond that, and they'll catch on and reset. Don't heal enough, and you'll get caught by that speedy charge or wind up eating murder rounds until you're dead.

A single tip for Krawtor:

Get a vuln weapon. His resistances from the DI don't matter if you're hitting with a vuln.
