Crusader versus Necromancer

I've removed my name in case it doesn't post anonymously, and their name because it's not entirely important. I am not that great at PK, but I did choose a vuln weapon and I've made a ton of mistakes. He nearly had me, had he just been more aggressive at that end, I was starting to panic IRL. The conversations happened before, during, and after and I felt it added at least a little bit to the log on top of that.

Crusader combat feels too binary; either you have too much passive melee output for your enemy to handle and it is a one-sided fight, or you don't have enough passive melee output and it's a one-sided fight in the other direction. There is no real cabal support (apart from Church, which just is a boost to your score sheet), though I guess Praetorian styles might be better than shoulder smash in certain situations.

Anyway! I love the crusader class and this was an enjoyable read. ⚔️
