I've seen a lot of guys use target changers in different clients. Anyone know one for RoA?
If not, can someone help me out with a good substitute client w/ scripts for target changing and tick timer?

You and I are probably the only people that use ROA, since it's a dead project.
I don't think there is a targeting protocol in it, and the tick timer sucks ***.
I'll still never use anything else, I love highlights too much.
I used to use Gmud for years. Then went to Roa for years. Been using Zmud ever since. No, there is not a way to do it in Roa.
Zmud has highlights.
I use a targeting protocol in RoA... It's called not being lazy and learning to type. ![]()
I've always used ROA, I don't think I've ever even tried any other one, except like...telnet...which doesn't count. I'm stuck on it, I love it too much.

Oh thats right, you use it too. Where did I think I found it...[bonks self]
and learning to type.
What if you got a few bytes of coder blood in your veins?

You're not Viri. It was only okay for him.

Hah, I definitely aint Virigoth.
But when taking into consideration that I've coded something which I could use as a final project even before I've decided if I'd go to get the graduate from school, I'd guess that my (actual) typoing is because of the "programmer condition".
And I'd be damn suprised if I was the only one here suffering from that. ![]()
Excuses, excuses. Learn to type. ![]()
Or use mushclient since mattamue made a targeting system that rocks for it.
wintin you just set up a variable ( I call mine TARGET)
#alias {set %1} {#var target %1;#panel 1 %1}
This line sets the target, and makes the current targets name appear in the panel at the bottom right.
Then you do simlar alias' to this one...
#alias {chest} {crit chest $target}
theres your targeting system, in one alias ![]()
