Why is there no ORDER religion?

It talks about the religion on the help files, but no matter what lawful character I pick, it doesn't exist...

Needs neutral align and lawful ethos

Any particular reason that goods and evils are not allowed the choice? Is it because it is considered a balance religion?

So, then ORDER and NUETRALITY would essentially have no divine intervention... Guess the system wouldn't let me play a nuetral cleric anyway...

There were Neutral Clerics in the past.

People RPed to get them.

But Neutral Clerics must be awfull.

Law itself is a Neutral Concept, at least in D&D it is. It makes sense to me that Law does not benefit the good nor evil but is implemented to maintain Order and a sense of "Lawful" balance.

Order =/= Law

Order aligned characters are almost nonexistent in FL.

Our characters are just law-unbreakers.

A True Order character would not lie.

Order "implies honor, trustworthiness, obedience to authority, and reliability. On the downside, lawfulness can include closed-mindedness, reactionary adherence to tradition, judgmentalness, and a lack of adaptability. Those who consciously promote lawfulness say that only lawful behavior creates a society in which people can depend on each other and make the right decisions in full confidence that others will act as they should."

"Lawful Evil

Lawful Evil is referred to as the "Dominator" or "Diabolic" alignment. Characters of this alignment see a well-ordered system as being easier to exploit, and show a combination of desirable and undesirable traits; while they usually obey their superiors and keep their word, they care nothing for the rights and freedoms of other individuals and are not averse to twisting the rules to work in their favor. Examples of this alignment include tyrants, devils, undiscriminating mercenary types who have a strict code of conduct, and loyal soldiers who enjoy the act of killing.

Like Lawful Good Paladins, Lawful Evil characters may sometimes find themselves faced with the dilemma of whether to obey law or evil when the two conflict. However, their issues with Law versus Evil are more concerned with "Will I get caught?" versus "How does this benefit me?"

Boba Fett of Star Wars, and X-Men's Magneto are cited examples of Lawful Evil characters."

From Wikipedia.

We have had this discussion before.

And it's a strange one because Lawful in FL is different from Lawful in D&D.

My advice is make a Evil Cleric Combat. Drow or Duergar.

And make a loop hole to serve Erana.

and how magneto is lawful after he destroyed the new york bridge and raids the cities with mutants?As I think of lawful evil I somehow imagine the agent smith from the matrix, he enforces the law in the cities but uses them for evil deeds.

How the hell was Boba Fett considered lawful?

My advice is make a Evil Cleric Combat. Drow or Duergar.

And make a loop hole to serve Erana.

Why drow or duergar?

Drow = huge mana reserve. High intelligence and wisdom.

Druergar = High rounded stats all round. Damage resistant.

Two of the stronger evil cleric possibilities.

and X-Men's Magneto are cited examples of Lawful Evil characters."

LOL.

Wikipedia failed here. I saw some of the other exampled as well. They are full of SH!T.

Batman is given as example for lawful good.

Riddick is considered chaotic evil.

Lol.

They have some good examples too though - Jack Sparrow as chaotic neutral, X-Men's Mystique as neutral evil.

Magneto to me appears to be quite Lawful.

Lawful =/= following the Law.

Drow = huge mana reserve. High intelligence and wisdom.

Druergar = High rounded stats all round. Damage resistant.

Two of the stronger evil cleric possibilities.

drow = auto sneak

That is the benefit that helps them be solid clerics, yes they have good mana but thats only a small contributor. If you're a drow, but slow to the dodge, then you're just dead.

This makes them better attrition clerics than Duergar, nobody can use triggers to catch you walking in, you can flee then heal then sneak right past them and heal some more. You can evade an opponent in a straight line if you are fast enough and know the best timing. This is how a drow cleric in kashangal gear beats a semi-decked melee. Duergar's are tough, more hp, less mana than a drow...but they have no autosneak. They can be tough as nails, but if they get on the wrong end of a fight they cannot maintain proximity and maintain pressure as well while healing.

(wouldnt riddick be the poster child for chaotic good? Same with batman...lawful good would be like Dick Tracey, lawful evil most of the tea party republicans hehe)

Lawful evil.
