As has often been the case when classes receive nerfs (in this case' date=' the addition of outside cabal healers), shamans were not given anything to make them more potent. In a fight vs. a decked melee, you might go through your HP bar 2-3 times before you get a lethal combination of mals to stick...and they go find a healer while you have to spend that time healing yourself, resetting spells, etc. Still fun though, not gonna lie

I thought so the first couple dozen times, then it started getting old fast.
That, however, is my failing as a player.
Shamans are dead?
I stand corrected, then. Still haven't gotten ID files on everything D:

What you forget here is the fact the previous to this change, any caballed character was able to flee INSIDE his cabal to the healer there and the shaman could not follow unless he killed the strong guard first. So I would call placing the healer outiside anything but a nerf to shamans. They profit greatly from this change.

And previous to that, IIRC, anyone could flee past any cabal guard. Healers being moved outside was undoing a big nerf more than it was giving shamans a boost.
Yeah, I thought about that afterward. The cabal healers don't bother me, it's just another way to wear down your opponent (via CP's).
However, if there is a spell that could use some work it is chorus of anguish...the damage on it is pathetic and it delivers no effects other than being an area spell. I think this spell should either have some kind of usage (like maybe it drains mana from the assault of the chorus), or its damage should be increased....or both ![]()

I say make it a dot that goes off in the room where it is casted akin to firestorm...the chorus sings the anguish of the damned.
