The Current Age
1451 PC to Present
After the threat of Lloth was averted around 1197 PSC, roughly two and a half centuries passed before the Chronicles resumed. The Tribunal maintained its grip over the three cities, though challenges continued from all sides.
Between 1451 and 1480 PC, the Chronicles documented ongoing political restructuring, dealings of warlords and fiends, and the continuing struggle for order. Maelbrim outfitted itself as the "Capitol of the World." The empire held, though internal tensions between the Castle and the Tribunal grew.
A gap of roughly 450 years followed. When the Chronicles returned, the Tower of Time Twisters had been ruined by the loss of Morlhach. The Miruvhor Whisperer newspaper had gained a following. Old tensions continued to simmer.
In more recent history, Feral armies besieged Val Miran's eastern gate while rat men attacked the western gate. After the Feral leader fell, their armies disbanded. Demons arrived through a portal on the eastern road. Knights and merchants worked together to evacuate refugees.
By the last recorded Chronicle, dated 2529 PC, an uneasy quiet has settled over the lands. The Nexus is strong. Undead roam freely. The Knights' former lands have been claimed by the Nexian horde. All is quiet. Far too quiet.
