TEMPIRION
General
Aether, also called the quintessence, the material that fills the region of the universe between the Gods and mortals. Early Scholars developed a way to harness this substance and create mana which can in turn be transmuted, by the user, to fuel magical spells. The mana pools were exhausted, by the end of the Great War, and the scholars whom created them had either been killed or vanished without a trace. The Savant Tower appeared, unexplainably, its great structure silent and lifeless. The doors remained barred for Eons without explanation. As magic began to fade from the world, its doors opened, and there magi discovered a new source of power. Endless pools of mana filled the towers basin giving hope to mages once more. Powerful beings claimed sovereign of the tower, over the millennium, but its true guardian had never manifested. As time passed and the secrets of the Time-stream were unlocked the fabrics in the rift began to tear as Aether slowly leaked into the mortal plane. It gathered into corporeal form and reclaimed the tower as it had done so long ago whiling it into existence. The only reference to be found in Aabahran referred to it as Tempirion.
