(continued from Aabahran Timeline III)

-=The Shade War=-

220-230 P.C. Members of Conclave learn that the power of the Nameless is unstably growing and is devouring the essence of Virigoth. Conclave summons Shades to Aabahran. Droves of Shades spread terror throughout the lands. Conclave employs Vellencht to sell shade-repelling amulets to the masses. The amulets harvest souls and strengthen Virigoth.

230-240 P.C. Rasep Dh'artep rises from a fissure in the Central Square of Val Miran and terrorizes the population. It is learned that he is the byproduct of the Nameless's uncontrollable growth and consumption of Virigoth.

240-250 P.C. The lands are torn and refugees from Miruvhor and Val Miran migrate to the central plains and establish the settlement of Rheydin. Halflings migrate to Haon Dor and settle within the Shire. Gnomes separate from the refugees and move south of Rheydin, creating the city of Tarandue.

250-260 P.C. In Val Miran, the Knights combine forces with the clan Hope and destroy Rasep Dh'artep. Virigoth rises from the destruction and becomes both guardian and prisoner of the Pillar of Souls.

-=The End of the First Age=-

260-270 P.C. The Drow open the gates of Xymerria, inadvertently resulting in the revealing of the Underdark and its inhabitants to the surface populations. The dwarves reveal their ancient mountain-home of Khorandain. Knight and Justice band together to drive all evil out of Val Miran. The people of Falen Dara abandon their homes and join the Val Miran and Rheydin populations.

270-280 P.C. Several Noble houses rise in Val Miran and secure the Throne of Roses. Miruvhor exiles Justice and declares Martial Law. A rivalry between Val Miran and Miruvhor grows. Rheydin remains the connecting force between the Eastern and Western city-states. Several lesser Gods of the Light, Dark, and Balance circulate throughout the heavens.

290-300 P.C. Rheydin grows and becomes a major world trading power. Rheydin opens its gates to all races. Rheydin explorers travel to the Alpines and discover the home of the Minotaur and Winter. Avians appear within Rheydin, assimilating into the population. The growing Slith population claims the abandoned Falen Dara as their home-city.

-=The Plane Shift=-

300-305 P.C. The Knights procure a large starstone-meteor that lands within Winter. The Knights' Immortal Leader, Sirant, uses the starstone to forge a weapon capable of killing Gods.

305-310 P.C. Virigoth and the Gods of Darkness lay siege to Val Miran. Sirant and allies arrive and attack Virigoth. Both Gods end up mortally wounded. Battle ensues between the Gods' mortal avatars. The planes of Life and Death unravel as their respective Gods lose power; the world shudders and cracks. Lysenties and Dyphrities lose orbit and begin to disintegrate; the destruction of Aabahran is imminent. The Immortals of Balance (Avariel and Brynstryst) pool their power together and open a planar rift, sending Aabahran into a parallel dimension.

THE SECOND AGE

-=The Lost Years=-

310-500 P.C. For reasons unknown, this period of time is unrecorded. Many believe that when Aabahran leaped through planes, it also jumped forward in time. Others believe that the denizens were far too occupied with rebuilding their world to pay much heed to historical chronicling. The mystery remains unsolved, but some historians relate events, such as the rise of Sirant the Black, to this time.
