THE THIRD AGE

-=Fall of the Ancient Pantheon=-

500-505 P.C. Luqin, a lesser God of Compassion, is corrupted by demonic forces and becomes the demon God, Suibremoront. Suibremoront attempts to open a demonic portal above Val Miran. Irumeru, a lesser God of Light, uses an ancient relic to thwart the demon's plans. The magic used in Suibremoront's spell lashes out and kills the entire Ancient Pantheon, save Irumeru. Irumeru remains as the last of the Ancient Pantheon and moves to eradicate the power of the Pillar of Souls. Several Cabals collapse without their patron Gods. Once again, Aabahran sways towards total destruction as the balance of the primes and planes unravels.

505 P.C. The Gods Chayesh, Malchaeius, and Caimor enter Aabahran through the weakening barriers of reality. Aabahran returns to balance with the new representations of Life, Death, Chaos and Order. Several Gods are born in the wake of the New Pantheon, including Eshaine and Anithraril.

505-550 P.C. Remnants of Chaos band together and establish Nexus. Organized crime resurfaces in the form of Syndicate. An anti-civilization group establishes the rebel Cabal, Watcher. The Knights, Warmasters, and Savants regain their former stature.

550-600 P.C. Civilization continues to rebuild and recover. The Cities of Val Miran, Rheydin and Miruvhor slowly regain their populations and political power. Galvatar Xebonn rises to power as Emperor of Miruvhor. Bartodk Budokd is appointed Regent of Rheydin. Branor Tsidkenu is elected King of Val Miran. Elise Shaenor becomes Queen of Shasarazade.

-=The Fall and Rise of Order=-

609-610 P.C. Malchaeius raises an army of Demons and Orcs and aligns with the Savants. Together, they conquer the lands of the Warmasters. Syndicate and Nexus overtake Miruvhor and exile Emperor Galvatar. Orcs invade Shasarazade and leave Queen Elise with mortal wounds. Malchaeius imposes a blockade upon Rheydin, preventing the city from sending aid. The Watchers dismantle Justice and lay siege upon Val Miran, leaving the city to the wilderness. Malchaeius unleashes his wrath upon the Castle of the Knights, but Corim Altierre returns and forces the invading army to retreat. The demon's war subsides. Order is defeated.

610-615 P.C. Elise recovers from her wounds and joins Chrinchton (last of Justice), Branor, Bartodk and Galvatar in hiding. Syndicate commissions the expulsion of several unwanted inhabitants of Miruvhor. Many exiles choose to relocate to the Forsaken Lands.

615-630 P.C. Former exiles within the Forsaken Lands appear along the Dragon Teeth Road as Feral. Miruvhor and Rheydin send a combined expedition to hunt down the newly discovered race but are defeated. The Feral disperse throughout Aabahran.

630-637 P.C. Crime and chaos torment the lands. Branor, Elise, and Bartodk gather a force of order-loyalists. Izlimak consolidates the force and creates the Milita of Order. Martineius joins the Militia and quickly rises in rank.

637-638 P.C. The Militia of Order, under Izlimak' lead, begins the reclaiming of the cities. Elise orchestrates a march of Storm Giants upon Val Miran. Martineius unleashes an army of Vampires upon Miruvhor and dismantles the Syndicate rule. Branor and Bartodk march the remaining forces of Militia upon Rheydin. Order is restored.

639-640 P.C. The Empire of the Tribunal is established, encompassing Val Miran, Rheydin and Miruvhor. Martineius rises in rank and grows in both popularity and infamy. Brambus causes the destruction of the Southern Plains.

640-670 P.C. The Tribunal commissions the rebuilding of Val Miran and Miruvhor; all traces of wildlife and crime are expulsed from the two cities. The Empire enjoys a new era of order.

670-800 P.C. The Tribunal maintains order throughout the Empire, though Cabals continue to war for land outside of the Empire's reach. Martineius rises in power as High King of the Empire. He installs the standardized system of laws and policy-making. Under his rule, several uprisings are quelled, including an anti-Empire propaganda-drive from the Bards.

800-850 P.C. Mt. Rainer erupts and destroys the cursed fortress of S'handor; the Volcano stands in its place. Anume is born in the wake of the destruction. A group of Dischord worshippers build The Pentagram near the site of the Volcano.
